Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’m 30 years old and have been working in special education for nearly 10 years. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and am a proud San Jose State University alum, go Spartans! Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children and teens ages 4 through 19. I began my career as an ABA therapist for children with autism, which led me to roles supporting various school districts by coordinating services and assisting students with special needs. My experience spans transitional kindergarten through high school, and in my earlier years, I also worked at summer camps and after-school programs. As the oldest of four siblings, caregiving has always been a natural part of my life. A little about me is I love to travel and explore new cultures! I’m also CPR and First Aid certified and available on evenings and weekends. Feel free to reach out. I’d love to support your family!
Hi there! My name is Gigi. I'm originally from Seattle and currently live in Bushwick/Ridgewood. I am 37 and am a performance maker and CLOWN! I attended the University of San Francisco, where I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Media Studies. I have worked with kiddos as a babysitter, tutor, and dance teacher since 2008 and from 2[removed], I worked as a long term nanny and family assistant. I then stepped away to focus on my artistic pursuits! I was a dancer for a long while and have more recently been pursuing performance art and physical theatre by way of theatre clowning (took a show to Edinburgh Fringe this past August, yay!). But I have missed working with little ones! Play, discovery, and having a healthy relationship with The Flop (failure) is important to my work as a performance artist as well as when working with kiddos. I'm learning no other work is as enriching or fulfilling than nurturing and supporting a child's security, creativity, curiosity, and individuality! So much so that I am in process of finding a Master’s program in Early Childhood Education with hopes to teach within the intersection of the performing arts and childhood development. I am committed to supporting and creating a reliable safe haven and secure base for kiddos so they may thrive, play, and learn with confidence. I myself have learned a lot and been inspired by my own inner-child healing and children’s advocacy self-study. In my own personal life, a lot of my time and energy is spent using the arts as a healing modality, as well as working through generational trauma and dysfunctional family patterns and behaviors. I find that this work has taught me to become a more empathetic, nurturing, and patient caregiver and has greatly impacted how I relate to children in particular. I am incredibly careful and intentional with my time spent around kids and hope to provide only the warmest, most supportive, and gently engaging environment. Thank you so much for your consideration and time and I look forward to supporting your family any way I can :o)
I'm an experienced child caretaker who has mainly worked with younger school aged kids as well as high schoolers. I've worked in after school programs as well as at an overnight summer camp as a counselor. My strengths are in patience, conflict management and adaptability. I also have experience caring for cats and dogs of various ages and sizes.
Hi ! My name is Jessica, I am very outgoing and would love to provide my services where needed. I have good experience with kids, I tend to help family members with taking care of my cousins. As well as taking care of my niece, picking her up from her designated bus stop and helping her with homework. I love working with pets as well, I have a cat and dog of my own, so there will be no issue with shedding. Activities that I do enjoy are painting, running, reading, dancing and talking.
I am currently a college student interested in becoming a physical therapist for younger children. I volunteered at a program with special needs kids for two years. Additionally I love spending time babysitting my younger cousins and family friends. I am CPR and first aid certified. I would love to create a safe and playful environment for any child aged 1 through early teens! Please do not hesitate to connect with me as I am happy to set up a call!
