Hi there! My name is Katie, and I am a graduate from the University of Chicago and Masters student living in Williamsburg. I have 4 years of experience caring for children ranging from toddlers to teens, as well as pets. I am also very skilled in cleaning, cooking, organization, and general proactive tidiness. Whether it’s a creative craft afternoon, help with homework, or navigating a busy playground, I prioritize safety, engagement, and compassion above all else. Regarding pet care, I am incredibly passionate about loving and caring for our pets who give us love unconditionally. I recently lost my childhood dog of 17 years to kidney disease, and know exactly what it feels like to want to give your pet the world. I will make sure to do everything in my power to give that love to your pet. Quick Facts: • Safety: CPR & First Aid Certified. • Logistics: I live near the L and G trains and am very comfortable navigating the city. • Specialties: Homework and schooling help, mentorship (in academics, leadership, and sports), activities (athletics, crafts, reading, walking, games), meal prepping, cleaning, laundry, proactive organization • Availability: Open for mornings Mon-Sat, all afternoons excluding Sat, all early mornings Mon-Fri, evenings excluding Fri and Sat I am passionate about spreading joy and compassion with all that I meet - adults, children, and pets alike - and most importantly, helping people. Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a Brooklyn resident, NYU MFA student, and longtime educator and childcare provider. I spent the last five years running an esteemed fine and performing arts summer camp for children aged 7-17, and have nannied professionally for children ages 3-13. I have experience as a teacher and teaching assistant in NYC Public Schools and most specifically PS75, PS151, and Pace High School. I am looking for some part-time work while in school and would love to connect with you and your family! As my classes change each semester, right now it's hard for me to commit to a schedule past the next few months, but I'd love to be considered for date nights or regular morning or evening shifts! I have a wonderful spouse (who is a full-time K-8 teacher in Brooklyn!) and a corgi named Hoagie. I'm very comfortable with pets and I LOVE to cook! Most recently, I've been making homemade sourdough loaves. I hope to hear from you!
Hello, my name is Daniela and I am offering child, pet, and household support. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have mostly watched children from ages 5-12. However, I do have experience with newborns. My responsibilities with the children were often taking them home from school, tutoring, and basic monitoring. As in, helping with homework, feeding them dinner, and playing games. I have had many pets over the years, mainly cats. I am, unfortunately, allergic to dogs. But, I love cats and would be so happy to take care of yours. Since I have my own I understand them well. I am aware feeding times are strict and must be adhered to. As well as, enrichment through playtime being crucial. I can also help in the home. I can clean and do chores. I don't mind doing dishes, sweeping, or even dusting. I am excited to work with you!
Love cats! I can take care of multiple cats including ones with special needs. Happy to do overnight pet sitting if your cats need someone around more than a few minutes a day.
Creative, reliable, patient, and understanding. I have 15+ years experience working with children of all ages. As the oldest of 15 cousins, I began babysitting early and have always loved working with kids. I spent six summers as both a counselor and Arts + Crafts Department Head at an overnight camp in New Hampshire for kids ages 8-18, and earned degrees in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Vermont. I will always treat your little ones with respect and am comfortable navigating big emotions or challenging behaviors with a cool head and a positive outlook. I love finding fun and creative ways to make mundane tasks exciting, and love learning about children's interests and personalities to help them grow into their truest selves. I can support caregiving, learning, extracurriculars, household chores... I'm happy to jump in and help make your day-to-day a little easier! I have some experience with pets (mostly cats + dogs) and while I have less experience with senior care, I am confident that I have the right demeanor and skillset to provide those services if needed. A bit more about me: I enjoy cooking, live music, art, and exploring the city as a recent transplant from Quincy, MA. I spent the past six years working for a 3D Printing startup based in Boston where I lead Workplace Experience and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion efforts. My partner's career has recently brought us to NYC, a move I have been wanting to make for quite some time now. I visited the city frequently before our move and have a large network of friends living here, so while I am a new resident I have spent substantial time here and am comfortable with basic safety and transportation routes. If I seem like a good fit for your family's needs, please reach out to chat!
