Hello parents and caregivers! I'm Jordan, a NYC–based caregiver with a passion for childcare! I'm a recent UC Berkeley alum who has spent countless hours through education-centered coursework and hands on experience investing in the bright minds of tomorrow! My experience includes working with children in both formal household settings, as well as in educational environments (through tutoring and volunteering at school events). I bring a thoughtful, attentive approach to caregiving that prioritizes safety, creativity, and emotional awareness. Beyond childcare, I have experience assisting with pet care and household tasks, and I’m happy to support busy families with errands or light upkeep as needed. I’m reliable, communicative, and respectful of each family’s values and routines. Whether it’s keeping kids entertained off-screens, helping them learn or simply making sure they feel safe and heard, I aim to create a calm, positive environment parents can trust!
Hi! My name is Linsey and I’m currently 21 years old! I moved to NYC from Los Angeles at the beginning of August, and I’m super excited to be here! I’ve been babysitting a lot more consistently after graduating high school to become more financially independent, and since then have made many incredible relationships with children I’ve sat for! I’ve been babysitting since 13 or 14 years old helping out my older sister take care of her two children. I cultivated a love for taking care of children and started to continue doing it outside of my family with family friends. I have taken care of ages 6 months to pre-teens. My goal with children is to just have fun and be creative, and encourage them to be themselves—I have a gentle but assertive approach with kids but very willing to adapt to your preferred approach! My responsibilities I’ve taken on have been getting a child ready for school, driving kids, taking them to their afterschool activities, feeding them dinner, taking them to the park/swimming pool etc, organizing their rooms, among other things. I love cats and dogs so pets aren’t an issue at all, they’re welcomed! I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life—especially cats—and I absolutely adore them. I have lots of experience changing a litter box, feeding pets, taking them for walks, playing with them, etc. Also certified in CPR!
“Would definitely recommend Linsey! She was very professional, and my daughter liked her a lot”
Hello, my name is Leesie! I’m currently a student attending St. John’s University pursuing my undergrad in health & human services. After college I plan to work with children with special needs - my inspiration for this is my dear brother Lincoln whom has autism. He’s my super star and I’ve helped my mom raise him up since I was 10 until leaving home to pursue my education. I hope to be able to help families out there that need assistance with their children from a wide range of ages; struggling work and home life which I know can be super stressful. My interests are out door activities, painting, sports and reading. I have no problem with cleaning after kids/ keeping things tidy also helping with homework if needed… however if you require me to cook I am working on my skills but I’d say I have a moderate ability to do so as a young adult and open to learning more through out this experience.
I started babysitting at 14 and have worked in childcare since then. I worked at a summer camp for five years, and have also have been a full time swim instructor for children ages 2-12. I have done private lessons and continued babysitting throughout. I love working with kids and enjoy watching them learn with a smile on their face!
Hi! I'm a nurse who's currently looking for intermittent baby-sitting for date nights, errands, emergencies, etc. I've been a NICU nurse for 4 years and prior to that was a full time nanny for 5 years. I also babysat throughout most of middle school, high school, and parts of college. Most of my recent experience is from newborn to three years of age, but I do have experience with older children as well. I love infants and toddlers because they have such wonder and awe for the world around them and it's a special experience to watch and engage with their development and growth. I'm gentle, engaging, empathetic, and sympathetic in my care and avoid screen time when with the children. I love taking children to parks, museums, play dates, etc., but also just as happy to play games and read stories at home. I won't be able to have regularly scheduled gigs as my work schedule changes week by week, but would love to find a family or families to develop a longer term baby-sitting relationship with, as I feel continuity is better for both the children and the carers. I am also BLS and NRP certified. Thanks!
