Hi families! My name is Gio, but kids call me Gigi. I have over three years of childcare experience. Recently, I worked with a family in the East Village, caring for two 12-year-old and two 10-year-old girls. I helped with school pick-ups, after-school activities, playdates, homework support, meal preparation, and even stayed late sometimes. I also helped with laundry, errands, and maintaining routines to keep the household running smoothly. Before that, I worked as an au pair in both Connecticut and Italy, caring for young children (around 2 years old) and supporting families with daily routines, outdoor activities, meals, and age-appropriate play. I’m reliable, organized, patient, and enjoy building strong relationships with both children and parents. I believe in creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment while also helping families feel supported. I’m currently a student in New York City and have a flexible schedule. I’m available for after-school care most weekdays, but I can also accommodate longer daytime schedules on certain days each week. I’d be happy to discuss availability and find a schedule that works well for your family.
“Gigi has been an extraordinary babysitter, very reliable, very flexible, very nice and easy to deal with.”
Glorious Day! I am Atmavidya "Adryn" Mari. I am a Bhakti Yoga practitioner who recently relocated from Houston, Texas, to New York City to teach Eastern Yogic Philosophy to high school youth. I am a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner with a B.S. in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, yet my passion resides in the cultivation of sustainable living and lifestyle choices through Bhakti Yoga. Recently, I have been using my Ayurvedic degree to support individuals and families to transition their kitchens to be more environmentally conscious with a local, whole foods focus. This is something I am enthused to speak of more and happy to integrate into my interactions with your family, if interested. I taught three years of gardening classes at Durham Elementary while living in Houston. It was a gift to witness the enthusiasm and wonder of young minds experiencing food grown through their influence. I have also tutored in English and facilitated an after school program at a middle school in Northern California. I enjoy allowing children exploratory experiences as their minds are young and shaped by engagement. I tend to give children parameters, rather than hard rules. I love reading with a cup of herbal tea or chai, taking nature walks, playing in the garden, visiting the farmer's market, meal prepping, experimental food creations, painting, coloring, embroidery and laying in the grass looking at the sky. These are all activities I am open to sharing with your child(ren). Caveat: I am a strict vegetarian, so I am unable to feed or cook with meat, eggs, or fish. Yet, my child-friendly cooking skills are on point - Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, marinara with hidden vegetables, fruit salad, blueberry pancakes, just to name a few. My smile is contagious. I appreciate sharing hugs. I am overly honest and handle feedback well. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and consider me as member of your success team. Looking forward to getting to know you and supporting your family, if my profile resonates. May the universe continue to share an abundance of love.
“Adryn has babysat for me many times. She was incredibly thoughtful and nurturing to my little one. She created space for both active play and intentional rest. My daughter was usually fully engaged in activities when I came to pick her up and she couldn’t wait to hang out with Adryn again. I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter with her, knowing she would be well fed, respected, and cared for.”
Hello! My name is Lilly! I have my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Childhood Education and am currently pursuing my Masters in Childhood Special Education. I am very patient, punctual, compassionate, attentive, responsible, and prioritize safety and comfort. I enjoy reading, arts & crafts, and games! I am available for child care services & light household services. ****I would like to find jobs that are in the NYC area as I do not have a car and rely on public transportation. ***** I grew up with a chihuahua and currently have 2 cats. I am comfortable with both dogs and cats and can assist with feeding and playtime if needed. If you have any questions, please reach out. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!
“Lilly was extremely professional and reliable. My 11 year old son warmed up to her, so did our two small dogs! She was very diligent. She made sure to listen to our expectations and delivered perfect care. I would recommend her services. ”
Hi! I am 21 years old and attend Oberlin College in Ohio where I'm studying psychology. I grew up in Brooklyn Heights and have lived here my whole life, so I am comfortable with public transportation, going to park, and other fun attractions for kids. When home on breaks, I live with my two parents, older brother, younger sister and dog. I have experience sitting for kids ages 1-9; this includes playing with them and getting them dinner together, bathing them and putting them in pjs, and reading books to put them to sleep. Sometimes I would bring my dog because one girl loved to play with him. I am allergic to dogs and cats, but I am able to work with families who have dogs that do not shed. In my free time I love to bake, paint, sew, play frisbee, and take my dog to the park. While my certification has lapsed, I have taken courses in CPR and first aid.
Hi! My name is Amelia, I’m 22 years old, and was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I recently graduated from the University of Vermont, where I majored in Studio Art and minored in Art History. I am offering child care, pet care, and household services. I love working with kids and have babysitting experience through the Babysitters Guild, where I worked for three summers in a row, as well as experience working at a sleepaway camp. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, playing games, spending time outside, reading, and creating a fun and comfortable environment for kids. I’m also a huge animal lover and have a cat and dog of my own. I’m happy to help with dog walking, feeding, playtime, fresh water, litter box care, and general pet sitting. I’m comfortable with different animals and always make sure to follow their routines and any specific instructions from their owners. I’m also happy to help around the house with tidying, dishes, laundry, organizing, taking out the trash, and errands. I’m dependable, patient, and communicative, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your kids, pets, and home!
