My name is Emma and I am a passionate, experienced teacher and educator with a goal to make a difference for the families I work with. I have over 18 years of childcare experience and have worked in Spain, France and Switzerland in addition to the US as a nanny and babysitter as well as private tutor for children ages 5 months-18. I was born in the United States (Connecticut) and have worked in the public and private school system in the northeastern United States, California, Hawaii and France and Switzerland. I taught preschool and elementary school for over 11 years, after graduating from Smith College. In addition, I recently began teaching high school French, ELL and Spanish. I am currently a high school French teacher at an international school in Thornwood New York. My overall childcare experience began in 2007, when I started working as a nanny in CT; from there, I continued throughout my teaching career to do childcare work. I hold a B.A. in French and Education from Smith College (Northampton, MA, USA, May 2007) and a Masters degree in Educational Sciences from University of Geneva ( Geneva, Switzerland, June, 2023). The summer of 2023, I worked as a live-in Aupair for a family in Sant Cugat, Catalonia, Spain, and learned basic Spanish during this time. I believe in diversity, inclusion and that all children thrive in a stimulating environment that meets their individual needs in a creative way. I really love the work I do with young children. (I am passionate about working with all ages, but particularly enjoy working with babies). I'm reliable, energetic and professional. Whether as a short-term solution or long-term support, I look forward to creating a supportive, loving and authentic relationship with families. I am currently looking for a part-time babysitting/nannying job this summer (2025)

Hello! My name is Renee and I am an 18 year old senior graduating 2026. I offer child care, pet care, and a bit of household services. Since as young as I can remember I have been babysitting for family members and close family friends; ranging from infants to toddlers and kids (8months - 10yo) My responsibilities include baths, entertainment, snacks, and just ensuring their well being. I worked for a summer school/camp for over 2 summers with elementary school students where I had to transport them from place to place, help with tutoring and work, and making sure they had a fun time up at site or at the school facilities. For household services I am able to run errands and do some cleaning. I have a love for pets as I have a cat myself and am comfortable with pet sitting friendly animals!! With that being said, I may not have a lot to show on my profile but I can assure you I take my jobs seriously and ensure safety. I’m always available to answer questions as well just reach out.
“Renee is a very hard working girl that does what she can to her best abilities, very much on her own pace and time. She's very good at crafts for entertainment that keeps people busy at times. She was really into baking as a kid and is trying to get into cooking as of recently. She is almost always available after school hours (2:30) or when no events are happening as she is a senior in high school. She has been babysitting for relatives/family since a younger age up until highschool. She babysat all 3 of her nephews/niece since they were babies. She loves taking care of kids and being around them. For 2 summers she worked at a summer camp as a counselor for elementary school kids and is planning on going back this summer as well. On top of that she recently adopted a cat who has been attached to her since we took her home and takes care of sher like her own child. Renee is very good with pets as long as they are docile and friendly. Though she doesn't have a car, transportation would be the main topic but given the time she always tries to be timely and prepared with her jobs.”
Hi! I’m a dedicated childcare provider who just moved back to New York after spending the last four years teaching early learners (ages 3–6) in Krakow, Poland. I absolutely love working with kids and bring a lot of patience, creativity, and calm energy to my time with them. I’m also currently earning my master’s in education through the University of Glasgow. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and cozy environment where your child feels happy and supported. I’m always happy to help however I can — can’t wait to meet your family!
“*updating as of 1/13/26: we have continued to use Danielle regularly since we first met her and are BEYOND delighted to have found her. She is amazing with our son, he is SO excited to see her, and she's super reliable - you would be lucky to have Danielle watch your children! :) They go to the park, she prepares his meals, and I really appreciate that she plays with him / is on "his level" the entire time - they have a blast and he is genuinely excited for his "friend" to come over and play. 10/10 recommend! I am delighted to recommend Danielle as a reliable, responsible, warm and dedicated caregiver! I connected with Danielle through Urban Sitter and she was super responsive / warm / organized in our initial correspondence - I then spoke with a mom in Poland who Danielle had worked for in the past who spent 30 minutes on the phone with me and could not recommend Danielle highly enough (she had cared for 3 of her sons) - we met Danielle in person last Friday and spent a few hours watching our 1.5 year old and he had the BEST time. Danielle was super calm, loving, play-oriented and very responsive to all of our directions / instructions. She took him out for a walk, prepared his dinner, and gave him lots of attention / love / play - he was in GREAT spirits when we came home. We have decided to hire Danielle on a recurring basis to watch our toddler at least 1-2 times per week. I definitely recommend hiring Danielle and we can't wait to work with her again (and feel so lucky to have found her!).”
