Nicole New York
$21 per hour for 1 child

Experienced and reliable 21-year-old babysitter with over five years of hands-on childcare experience. From a young age, I’ve been the go-to babysitter for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for children of all ages. I officially started babysitting at 16 and have since worked extensively with pre-school and elementary-aged kids, providing attentive, engaging, and nurturing care. Whether helping with homework, organizing fun activities, or ensuring a smooth bedtime routine, I strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for every child I look after. Currently a senior at Adelphi University, I will be starting dental school at the end of the summer. I have my own car for reliable transportation, making pick-ups, drop-offs, and last-minute scheduling easy. I’m fluent in both English and Russian and also comfortable around pets, as I have two dogs of my own. My experience, patience, and genuine love for working with children make me a dependable choice for any family in need of a caring and responsible babysitter.

**Please Note: For all jobs that begin before 7am or end 10pm and later, I do require compensation for cab fare. This ensures my safety during travel time when public transportation may not be the safest or most reliable option. Thank you for understanding.** **Early Arrival: I do request to be paid for the full amount of time booked even if parents should arrive home early** 2 HOUR/$50 BOOKING MINIMUM for one time bookings I am more than happy to discuss my policies with you. Hi! My name is Nisa. I am currently working as a part time nanny, but I have been a babysitter for over 15 years and I have loved every minute of it. I am a recreational ballet dancer, gymnast, and painter. I am also extremely creative and I love coming up with new and fun adventures for kids to enjoy. I hate for children to be bored, so I like to do arts and crafts projects, read to them, play card and board games, bake with them, and go to the park. I even have a recipe for homemade play dough! I have also been an after school teacher for children, grades K-5 and I am currently studying to become a Newborn Care Specialist. I have worked with infants, toddlers, and pre-teens and I love connecting with each child on their level. I am naturally drawn to children which is why I love to spend time with them and be a part of their lives. I formerly worked as a cook and baker so I don't mind cooking and baking for/with the kids as well. I am currently CPR/First Aid certified and I have excellent references. Hopefully, I will be a great fit for your family. I look forward to meeting you! ** Please message me for my rates for any HOUSEHOLD SERVICES. Feel free to reach out to me for kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry, as well as pantry, closet, and general home organization. Thank you!**

Nisa was great. She was kind, caring, and professional. I would recommend her to anyone. She stepped right up to care for our daughter, who has a lot of profound needs. Not every caregiver is able to easily figure out how to relate to her, but Nisa had no problem with that.

New York
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 148 families in Rockaway Park, NY

My name is Luke and I'm a graduate of New York University ('16) with a BFA in Drama. Some of my favorite things to do are go to Broadway shows (obviously), playing tennis, writing, and going for a run along the Hudson River while jamming to Taylor Swift. I enjoy all things Harry Potter and will talk with anyone about it for hours. I've been babysitting in various capacities since I was 14. First, it was occasionally babysitting my neighbor's daughters while she cleaned the house or ran to the store. After that, I did some student teaching in first and second grade classrooms for a year, along with babysitting kids who were involved with my high school's musical productions. Just before graduating college in 2016, I transitioned into date night and after-school babysitting in NYC, working for close to 200 different families (so far)! My favorite thing about babysitting is making a connection with the kids I work with. Relationships are very valuable to me, regardless of if it's my family, my friends, or the people I work with. Being able to know that I've made not only a bond with the kids, but a positive impact as well, is the most rewarding part of my job. When it comes to working with kids, I've basically done it all at one time or another. Among my favorite jobs have been being a nanny for a number of incredible families after-school; working at a children's theatre in Manhattan, where I taught musical theatre classes for ages 3-14; and working as a tennis and theatre counselor at an all-girls summer camp in Maine, where I taught girls ages 7-16 and was a bunk counselor for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Most recently, I've worked at several day camps in Manhattan - Asphalt Green Summer Day Camp, where I was the On-Site Program Manager for two years, and Steve and Kate's Camp at Kips Bay, where I was the Site Director. I am currently the PS 527 Program Director for the Imogen Foundation, an after-school program focusing on SEL and emotional literacy. I am very skilled in managing large groups of kids. As a camp counselor, you quickly learn to think on your feet because there's nothing more stressful than dealing with 200 incredibly bored kids stuck inside on a rainy day. Through my teaching experience, I've learned quite a bit of classroom management and how to command the attention of a room. Whether I'm working with one kid or several dozen, I have the experience to make the most of any situation. I look forward to hearing from you! :)

Luke was very flexible and good with our toddler.
