Hi! My name is Linsey and I’m currently 21 years old! I moved to NYC from Los Angeles at the beginning of August, and I’m super excited to be here! I’ve been babysitting a lot more consistently after graduating high school to become more financially independent, and since then have made many incredible relationships with children I’ve sat for! I’ve been babysitting since 13 or 14 years old helping out my older sister take care of her two children. I cultivated a love for taking care of children and started to continue doing it outside of my family with family friends. I have taken care of ages 6 months to pre-teens. My goal with children is to just have fun and be creative, and encourage them to be themselves—I have a gentle but assertive approach with kids but very willing to adapt to your preferred approach! I love cats and dogs so pets aren’t an issue at all, they’re welcomed! I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life—especially cats—and I absolutely adore them. I have lots of experience changing a litter box, feeding pets, taking them for walks, playing with them, etc. Also certified in CPR!

In home settings, I have provided childcare for more than 30 families with various needs from the ages of 9 months to 10 years old. Responsibilities included gentle wake ups or lengthy bedtime routines, preparing meals, travels to and from school or extra curricular activities, and more! I am also more than happy to assist with household chores and pet care! I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs.
