Hi! I am Kate, I enjoy dancing, photography, music, and being with friends and family. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old and have continued thought the last almost 30 years! I am returning to Urbansitter after taking a few years off after having my own children. I am looking to work nights, weekends, travel, and overnight jobs. When I lived in Chicago from 2009 to 2022, I was a High School teacher until 2010 and then was a career nanny for various families until having my own child in 2019. I worked with many parents including Doctors, Professors, NFL players, and many other high profile parents. The children I nannied for ranged from 7 weeks old to 12 years old in addition to babysitting for over 100 kids throughout the years! Since I am a Stay At Home Mom, I am looking to start babysitting on nights, weekends, for travel, and overnights. I have been a travel nanny for a few families and really enjoy helping while on adventures. I also am very comfortable with newborn care and overnights and am working towards getting my newborn care specialist training.

I have been taking care of my siblings and foster siblings since I was about 7 years old. I have worked with children with medical problems. I am very social, outgoing, and I love to have a good laugh. I also do very well at cleaning and cooking although I’m not very highly skilled in cooking.

Since the age of 12, I have naturally embraced the role of a caregiver. As a mother of six children, whose ages range from 7 to 16, I have firsthand experience in nurturing and guiding young minds. My involvement extends beyond my family; I volunteer in children's church services, where I care for infants and toddlers, ensuring they are engaged and structured during their time there. Professionally, I work as a juvenile corrections officer for the state of Ohio, interacting daily with youth from all over the state. This role has deepened my passion for helping young people navigate their challenges, and I find fulfillment in making a positive impact in their lives. I believe my experiences allow me to offer valuable support to children and families, and I would love to bring that dedication to your household. Additionally, I have a profound appreciation for the elder generation. Raised by my maternal grandmother, I cherish the lessons and wisdom she imparted. In her later years, I had the honor of being there for her, planning her final wishes and ensuring her comfort. This experience has reinforced my understanding of the value of companionship and care for our elders. Hello!! My name is Jackie; I’m a recent Marietta College graduate earning my BA in strategic communications!! I am offering childcare, senior care, & household services! I’ve been working professionally in childcare the last two years with a nonprofit educational foundation working with children ages 3+. I am CPR certified & have had multiple online state certified trainings. I also have worked privately for families with up to 4 children youngest being 3 mo since I was 15! My responsibilities have included driving to/from daycare, crafts, homework, enrichment activities, & more! While I have more experience in childcare I am comfortable working with seniors as well! I spent time in college volunteering with the local senior center preparing meals, assisting with activities, and helping with transportation duties!
