EXPERIENCED NANNY LOOKING FOR NEW NANNY FAMILY/CARE OPPORTUNITIES Hi parents/guardians! My name is Faydra, I am a 26-year-old childcare provider and I'm looking for a new part time nanny family and other care opportunities in NE or SE Portland, possibly N Portland as well. I am available for one-time/occasional care, and date night care as needed. Also possibly overnight care as well. I am CPR and First aid certified, have my food handlers card, and have taken a red cross babysitting course, I have 16 years of experience (outside of caring for my family members/close family friends, 17 years within) and an extensive list of references. I currently have an open schedule. I specialize in ages newborn to 8 years old but have experience with children 17 and younger, I am comfortable with all ages and pets! I specialize in caring for multiples but love one on one care as well! I have been a second parent to my 8-year-old niece/Goddaughter for her entire life, have multiple nieces and nephews I care for, I am the oldest girl of 7 kids and a mother to 1 infant. My mother is a doula/lactation consultant and I was and am often hers, her friend's, and her client's childcare. I have also done an extensive amount of group childcare for different events and classes in my community and am comfortable caring for up to 6 kids (of all ages) at a time. I have a background check done through Care, I am also on Babysits, Urban sitter (.com), The Nextdoor app babysitting group, multiple Facebook Childcare groups, Ect. I have extensive experience with children varying forms of Autism, children with skin conditions, behavior and speech delays, and food aversions. I do not drive but can usually uber. I have over 10 years experience working with children. I am currently a Teacher’s Aide in a 2nd grade classroom, and this is my second year doing so. I have 7 years of summer camp experience and 2 years on leadership of summer camps. I have tutored, housesat and pet sat in between the aforementioned experience. Stay at home Mom of two kids. One 8-year-old and a 1-year-old. Very active and hands-on with at home creativity and learning projects. Very patient. Very attentive to children and their needs. I value structure and a routine to help the children get everything they need throughout the day from learning to play to nap times. I try not to encourage screen time and would much rather have them play outside or do arts and crafts. Very loving and kind to pets as well.
