My services include baby sitting, house sitting, and cat/dog sitting! Originally from Montana, I love things like sports, games, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Hello 😊! My name is Jaclyn I am brand new to UrbanSitter! I am a 21 year old mom to my first child. I have lots of experience with handling baby’s and toddlers from many ages! I come from a big family of 13! So I enjoy everything from taking care of kids to taking care of pets/animals. In addition, I do have a nonnegotiable for having to bring my child with me. She is a very sweet three month old baby who mostly sleeps all day and would not interfere with me taking care of/ watching over your child. I used to be full time associate at In n Out Burger in Keizer! I am very used to and can handle chaotic environments. They do not bother me in the slightest! But since having my baby girl I am needing to drop down to part time and or hoping to quit soon, sticking to just babysitting/part time nanny. Qualifications: Child care experience CPR certified Food handlers permit With me I also will always do house cleaning that comes with NO extra charge! :) I believe it should be a basic requirement for when being a babysitter/nanny. I know how relaxing it can be to come to a clean home! Side note: please be specific with me if you would NOT like me to clean a place in the home or would prefer me to leave stuff alone! :)

I absolutely love children! I grew up helping care for younger siblings and went on to study human development in college. I graduated with an emphasis in family studies and learned a lot about child development. I worked as a preschool teacher in Southern Utah before spending two years abroad as an English teacher to children ages 2-12. I have volunteered with children in a Chinese orphanage and worked with children in a number of different capacities. I recently went back to school and I am a full time student right now. I love arts and crafts, dancing, animals, and anything outdoors. I adore spending my days with little ones and helping them explore the world.

Growing up, I was always helping care for my younger siblings and cousins, and I’ve been working professionally with children since I was 15, giving me 9 years of childcare experience. I’m currently a lead preschool teacher, where I work with children every day to support their learning, development, and social-emotional growth. I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages and have experience with everything from infants to school-age kids. I’m also comfortable transporting children and enjoy planning fun, active days. Whenever possible, I love getting kids outside to explore parks, play games, and enjoy nature. One of the things I’m most passionate about is supporting children’s emotional development. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. I strive to help children understand their big feelings and guide them toward healthy, age-appropriate ways to express and work through those emotions. I have experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
