Hi, I'm Jena! I am currently working as a behavior technician, supporting children with autism between the ages of 4–6. Before this, I spent over five years as an ESL teacher, working one-on-one with children aged 3–14 in both in-person and online lessons. With so many years of teaching, I’ve developed a natural talent for connecting with kids, adapting to their individual needs, and making learning and playtime engaging, fun, and supportive. I bring patience, creativity, and a calm, nurturing approach to every interaction, whether it’s helping with homework, organizing activities, or ensuring children feel safe and cared for. My background has given me strong communication skills, an understanding of child development, and a knack for building trust quickly with both children and parents. In addition to my childcare experience, I have spent several years traveling internationally, often taking on house-sitting and pet-sitting roles along the way. This has given me extensive experience caring for animals of all kinds and looking after homes with responsibility and attention to detail. Hi - I'm Jessica. I am kind, loving, and fun. I am offering child care, pet care, elder care, and household services. I started babysitting as a teenager. I loved kids so much that I went to college and received a B.A. an M.Ed. in elementary education with a concentration in math. I worked as a teacher in the public school system for over 20 years before taking early retirement. I am comfortable with all age groups, from babies to elderly folks. I have taken care of my grandparents in the past, and I currently help my mother-in-law who is in her 80's. I love all animals, big or small, and I am happy to help with your pets!
