Hey there, families! I’m Emerald, and I’ve been a babysitter/nanny for over 7 years now. From infants to teenagers, I’ve got experience with kids of all ages. I’ve also worked with children who have special needs, like autism and ADHD. On top of that, I’ve spent 3 years working with senior citizens. Currently, I’m studying nursing at Houston Community College after graduating from Ridge Point High School. Safety is a priority for me, which is why I’m CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I can help with pick-up/drop-off, extracurricular activities, homework, meal prep, and bath time. Plus, I’m happy to cook, clean, assist with animals, and support learning development. I’m also available for date night sitting. I can start as early as 6am and stay as late as 3am. Overnight sitting and traveling are also on the table! I’m comfortable caring for families with dogs and other pets; I just ask that families be mindful of excessive pet hair throughout the home and on furniture. I’m also comfortable caring for sick children and with parents being home during the sitting. I simply ask that parents be mindful that frequent check-ins can sometimes make separation anxiety harder for both the child and me.
