Hi! My name is Shanjay and I’m a caring babysitter with a genuine love for working with children. My full time job is a nurse however, I want to explore other means of extra income being of an assistance to others in need. I am a parent of 3 adult children, 20,19, 17 so I am well equipped to handle children with gentle care. I will provide a safe environment as well as some fun with activities such as crafting, playing games, helping with homework. I’m also CPR child and adult certified with American heart. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I’ve worked with all ages from infants and up. I was a preschool teacher for awhile and I also have experience working with special education. Ive nannied for a 4 year old boy, a family with 4 kids (ages 10, 8, 5, 6 months) and occasionally for a family with 11, 9 and 3 year olds. I have my own car so I don’t mind transporting or running errands as needed. I’m CPR/BLS certified, almost medical assistant certified, a non smoker, I like to cook, and don’t mind light janitorial and household duties. I Can speak intermediate Spanish. I know enough to be able to teach someone else how to speak it and I would love to learn more together as well. I am based in Texas but I travel to California every so often to visit family.

My brother and I are the first in the family to seek bachelor degrees! I am very empathetic and always give to my loved ones without expecting anything in return. I am a sensitive kiddo but with great communication I am very open minded and can go through any obstacle in life! :) I am striving to become a marketing analyst as a career, but in all I just want to help people and seek happiness in this life. I am a great caregiver due to a personal reason in not wanting any kiddo or baby have a hard up bringing like I did. I am wanting to help in any way.
