Hi there! My name is Sarah, and I’m a recent UTSA graduate with a BS in Biochemistry. I am a current medical assistant and applying to PhD programs for Fall 2026 to investigate disease mechanisms, particularly with Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity. As the oldest of five, I’ve been taking care of little ones since they were babies. Outside of family, I’ve had hands-on experience as young as 3 years old, and I’ve also provided tutoring for high school students. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, reading stories, or organizing fun activities, I create a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable environment for your child. I’m BLS/CPR certified, can cook, and I’m comfortable with household tasks. I’m well-versed in caring for animals as I have a cat of my own and occasionally watch over family friends’ pets (most being 4 dogs small and large and 1 cat), making me the perfect option for families with pets. If you’re looking for someone responsible, caring, and fun, I’d love to meet your family!
“Great! Highly recommend ”
Hi! My name is Lina, and I’ve been working on UrbanSitter for a few years now. I am an auntie of eight incredible nieces and nephews whom I have helped take care of from birth into their childhood. I’m conversant in Amharic, French, and I am somewhat conversant in Arabic and Spanish. I am energetic, creative, and read wonderful bedtime stories! I can help with all kinds of homework, and can engage in various activities. If there are any particular subjects/activities or developmental milestones you would like me to help with, please let me know! I pay attention to detail & can maintain an organized space during and after activites. I take constructive criticism very seriously and try my best to implement changes immediately. I love working with children, from birth to big kids! Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions! At this time I am only available on an occasional basis. Thank you! -Lina
Hello! My name is Lisa and I am 26 years old. I have been working on and off as a nanny and house manager since I graduated high school about 8 years ago. I have had a lot of experience being around children since I was young because my mother had an at-home daycare for 15 years. I helped along side my mom with many of the kids ranging in age from 10 weeks old to about 12 years old. Along with that I also have babysat for many families for the past 12 years. I would say most of my experience is with toddlers but I've also watched after kids up to the age of 15. I have done extended overnight stays(up to 2 weeks), vacationing with families and have experience driving to and from school, friends houses, or sports practice. I’ve also helped families with groceries, meal prep, household chores, doctors appointments and other miscellaneous errands. I have had my license for 10 years now and have a clean record. No accidents or tickets. I have my own car and insurance. Some activities I enjoy doing with kids are reading books, playing at parks or just outside, coloring, helping with homework, playing with Legos or just toys in general, and doing arts and crafts. Before the pandemic, I also worked at a children's gymnastics gym and play-place for a few months before the location I worked at sadly had to close down due to COVID. While there I learned some developmental activities for the kids I specialized with. The age group I focused on while there ranged in age from 14 weeks up to about 4 years old. I’m also fully vaccinated and adult and infant CPR and first aid certified.

Hi, my name is Eslam and a mother of four beautiful kids ages 10, 7, 5, and 2. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. I am very affectionate and nurturing with kids and have extensive experience (over 10 years) working with them. I volunteered at a Sunday school teaching children ages 4-8 Arabic for a year. I also tutor my own kids and help them with their school work. I enjoy taking the kids outside to play when possible, doing arts and crafts, reading, and other indoor activities. I am patient, reliable, and nurturing. Other relevant information include: - bilingual (English & Arabic) - great cook - easy to get along with - fast learner - fully vaccinated - college educated
I am a goofy, smiley 26 year old who loves infants and children. I have 5 years of experience working with children and babysitting. I work as a CNA in Postpartum and Pediatrics. I am very comfortable caring for infants and young children (therefore very patient :)). I am also comfortable with pets, and am willing to help with small tasks around the house if asked!
