Hi! My name is Theresa, and I’m a biomedical engineering student at the University of Virginia and a member of the UVA track and field team. As a student-athlete, I’ve learned the importance of responsibility, organization, patience, and maintaining a positive attitude. I have experience helping care for children of various ages, assisting with homework, preparing meals and snacks, keeping children engaged in activities, and helping maintain a clean and organized environment. I also have experience caring for pets and assisting with household tasks, including laundry, dishes, light cleaning, organizing, and running errands. Families describe me as dependable, energetic, kind, and attentive. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment while giving parents peace of mind. I am a student teacher’s assistant for general chemistry at UVA and an in-home caregiver for dementia patients. Pet care is also included in my job as an in-home caregiver as I currently help take care of two cats. At home I have a fish tank and in the past I have kept birds and a rabbit, as well as hermit crabs. I am very patient, responsible, and I relate to people of all ages very well.

I’m a recent graduate from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience. Hi, My name is Aani! currently a 3rd year student at the University of Virginia, but I am from the dmv area! I am a fun and flexible person who still always puts safety first. I have years of childcare experience, from being a babysitter, a counselor at sports camps, recreational coaching, being a Sr. summer camp counselor at the YMCA, and currently a lead after school care counselor of the after school program at my local elementary school.

I started babysitting for my neighbors when I was 11 years old. I babysat for two families; the first had a 7-year-old and a newborn. The second family had three children, the youngest was an infant when I first started sitting for them. Not only did I watch the kids, I also typically cooked and served meals, cleaned the play areas and kitchen, and watched the dog. Fast forward, I'm now the mom of two adult "children," both fully launched and doing well. I'm looking to fill some time and make some extra income, either by babysitting or og walking/sitting. Additionally, I'm great at interior design. I can help you organize your home, prepare for a move, or utilize your existing furniture for a makeover (hourly rate for design work is $50.
