My name is Emylee. I am an incoming sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania interested in studying criminology and I am 189 years old. I am originally from Seattle, Washington, but my family moved to rural Idaho when I was in eighth grade. Before I graduated from high school I would constantly babysit my younger siblings, who were anywhere from infants to 10 years old. I have some experience with babies and I am very patient and do not mind crying or anything like that. I am willing to work with parents to figure out hours that will work for both of us. I have had pets including a fish, rodents, and a couple of dogs. I am willing to help with homework, clean, and do fun activities with those I am watching.

As a mom myself, I know first hand how difficult (and overwhelming at times) it was to find a trusting babysitter or nanny for my boys when they were younger. I have a long experience with child care, from newborn to school age teenagers. I have a Bachelors in Education Sciences, with emphasis in Child Development. I am current on CPR, AED and First Aid training, and I am certified in Defensive Driving. I am also a Washington state Certified Specialized Para-Educator working with my school district in the mornings during the school year. Which meant we all went to the same school and I walked with them everyday and watched until someone was home My mother used to run a daycare out of our home when I was 15 and I spent a lot of time around the kids. Hi! I’m Lyndsay and I have been working in child care for the past fifteen years. I now have my own children, 6 year old boy and in first grade and a 2 year old girl who is my little sidekick.
