I currently work in Phoenix as a babysitter but I fly home this April and will be home until September so I wanted to use this app to find opportunities near me! I began babysitting when I was a teenager. I cared for infants, toddlers and school aged children. I had my own child and never hired a babysitter! I was fortunate to be able to stay home with her and homeschool her and I loved every minute of it! I volunteered at a forest school for 3 years, helping and having fun with 3-5 year olds and conducting nature projects with the the 6-14 year olds. I have also helped care for 5 of my grandparents, running errands, helping with projects and playing lots of board games! They were some of my favorite people! I have done pet sitting in their own home and also on our farm. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, chickens, llamas, horses, goats ducks, geese and even a python! I love animals! I have managed my own home as well as a vacation rental. I am flexible, reliable and willing to follow instructions as well as improvise when needed. I am looking forward to working with you!

I have been a CHAMPS volunteer [Monticello, R. A. Long, and Kessler] and working for DCYF as a Special Needs FFN Caregiver for the last 5 years while attending college so I already have my MERIT and STARS numbers. My last position was at Northlake Elementary as a Paraeducator High Needs Extensive[Intensive] watching 13 kids with 2 other para's.

Hi, my name is Renatha, I'm 29 and I'm from Brazil. I've been here in the US for almost 7 years. I have a 3yo girl and a 18mo boy. I can either bring one of them as a playmate or they can stay at home with grandma. When taking care of kids I like playing and interacting with them, reading books and sometimes I try to teach some Portuguese. Arts and crafts is usually their favorite, along with going to a playground nearby.. I like letting the kids explore and have fun, even if that means they get a little dirty (of course, with the families that are okay with that). My favorite thing to do is hiking and learning about plants. Every hike I bring along my plants book and I always find something interesting and new. I've learned some plants are eatable, some are medicinal and some are poisonous. Now I know which plants to stay away and which to have it around. My favorite hike was an amazing 3 day hike, 37 miles round trip to a blue glacier right in the middle of the Olympic national forest. That was amazing! *** I do have a bad review, I had to cancel short notice. My car was just not starting and jumping didn't help it. Since then I've got it fixed and I have no more problems with it. ***
