Hi! I'm Lucia. I'm a single mom to a 5 year old daughter who I homeschool, and I currently work in Child Watch at the YMCA. I'm also CPR certified and have experience caring for children of different ages. I really enjoy creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for kids. Being a mom myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your child. I'm patient, attentive, dependable, and nurturing, while also being comfortable setting appropriate boundaries and keeping children safe. I especially enjoy arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play, outdoor activities, games, and finding fun ways for children to learn. Homeschooling my daughter has also given me experience incorporating learning naturally into everyday activities. I'm currently looking for a family who needs consistent childcare every Friday. Because I'm a single homeschooling mom, I'm specifically looking for a family who would be comfortable with my 5 year old daughter accompanying me while I provide care. She's accustomed to being around other children, and I think this could be a great fit for a family who also likes the idea of their child having a playmate during the day. I prefer caring for one or two children at a time so I'm able to give them plenty of individual attention. I would love to find a family where we can develop a comfortable, consistent relationship and where both the parents and children feel happy having us there.

I live around a lot of families and wanted to make extra money while I was in middle/highschool. I connected with a couple families who asked me to watch their kids while they were working or had to run some errands. Really enjoyed watching the kids grow as people and grow into their personalities. It has been a while since I've babysat however it was always so much fun getting them outside to play or helping with homework. I love pet sitting as well (mainly I get to play with cute animals)
