I did have a dog when I was younger but unfortunately my husband is allergic so I haven't gotten to have my own but I have watched my friends dog and took her on walks while they were on vacation. My experience in childcare mostly comes from my current job working with children age aged between 1-3. Growing up I had younger siblings who are 5+ years younger than me who I helped take care of as-well. If animal care is needed I can do that as long as properly instructed. Hi! I have two pet cockatiels named Ray and Lola. They’re the light of my life. I’ve always loved animals, senior citizens, and kids! I was a soccer coach for children for a while and loved it so much; it made me want to continue working with kids. I’ve also helped babysit my little cousins growing up. With the elderly, I have experience helping out family and family friends who need assistance in their day-to-day lives, and I would also love to continue that. I even took care of an elderly lady in her 90s before she unfortunately passed away. Animals are one of my biggest passions as well! I am a parent of 3 children. Now 25, 20 and 15 years of age. I loved every age range! I was a high school teacher for over 20 years. I thoroughly care for my students of all backgrounds and easily establish connections with my students. I've also hosted families with Safe Families of Milwaukee. In this capacity my family would host children while mothers/parents were able to get back on their feet. We've hosted children with ages ranging from 2 to 11 years of age. (The times have ranged between a week to 8 weeks of hosting in our home. ) We are avid pet owners. Cats, dogs and a parrot have been part of our family for 25 years!
