My name is Karen, I am a native Spanish speaker, I play the violin and I love working with children. I am a preschool teacher, nanny and animal lover. I am currently enrolled in school taking Early Childhood Education classes to improve my job with infants and children. I have experience with infants and children from 5 months old-12 years old. I am a very responsible, reliable, patient, fun, creative, energetic and charm. I am actively looking for a part time job position during the day time.
Hi, moms and dads! I'm Suverce. I’ve been working with children for over 10 years as an au pair, a nanny, a tutor, and an occasional sitter, and I genuinely love what I do. I was an aupair for two years. I used us take care of 2 lovely kids. Luca is 3 yo, and Milly is 11 mo. I like having my time with kids. I`m energetic, creative, fun, and at the same time, a responsible and kind person. I have an easy connection with kids that they like spending their time with me! I would like to tell you about my one day as an Aupair: I take kids in the morning and help them eat their breakfast. I prepare their food, and I feed Milly. I help Luca to get changed. I drive to his school. After I leave Luca at his school, I take Milly to the Gymboree. After a couple of hours, I drive back to Luca`s school to pick him up. I read them books, and we do art projects with Luca. I help him use the potty. We play together, and if the weather is good, we go outside to take a walk. We also go to the zoo, playground, museums.. I help Milly eat her food, cook baby food for her, sing to her, and read books all the time. I change her diaper and do her routines every day. We sometimes go grocery shopping together. Luca loves it! In my second year as an au pair, I took care of Madeleine who is 6yo. We had so much fun.I love to go to the Oakland zoo, Lawrence science museum, Chabot space museum, SF pier 39, some playgrounds, especially SF Dolores park and Piedmont dracena park which are suitable for climbing and riding a bike. Emerville pump it up, Oakland sharks ice skating and Alameda ceramic painting place are good opportunity for rainy days. Before I was an au pair, I worked in the kindergarten as a volunteer for almost a year. I played with them and did lots of art-crafts. I helped them eat their lunches and brush their teeth. I taught them colors, numbers, arts and crafts, etc. (About me: I graduated with a degree in chemical engineering and completed a master's in engineering management at CSU East Bay. I am currently employed as a project manager for a construction contractor.)
Hi! My name is Eileen. With 15 years of experience working with children aged 3 months to 14 years;—I take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can thrive. Whether engaging in creative play, helping with homework, or supporting developmental milestones, I enjoy and take pride in contributing to each child’s overall enrichment and well-being. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Health and Disease from USC, providing me with a solid understanding of child development, health, and safety. I’m also CPR certified, ensuring I am well-prepared to handle any situation with care and professionalism. If you’re looking for a dependable, energetic nanny who values creativity, education, and fostering meaningful connections, I’d be glad to support your family in helping provide a happy, enriching environment for your children!
“Eileen has been looking after my 10 month old daughter and 3 year old son. She is a kind and warm soul who treats toddlers and infants with grace and respect. She is quick to bond and laugh with the kids but she can also be firm when the situation (tantruming toddler) requires it. She is creative and imaginative, loves to do arts and crafts, spend time outdoors, read stories or talk about the kids' favorite subject for hours. She is reliable, always on time, and all in all a joy to work with. She respects the personal space of our family and adjusts to our work and personal life routine seamlessly. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Thank you Eileen.”
Hello, I’m Alyssa. I am 36, I currently work as a lead 3/4 year old teacher through UCSF. I have over a decade of experience babysitting and nannying through urbansitter and I have 4 years of experience teaching in a preschool classroom. I have a double major in Human Development (BS) and Psychology (AB) from UC Davis. I also possess an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and 8 Associate of Arts degrees. I have current infant first aid and CPR certification as well as trust line (fingerprinting) certification. My upbringing prepared me for a career in childcare. I was raised the oldest female of thirteen cousins and often helped cook, change diapers, and care for my younger cousins with my grandmother every day after school. Caring for children from a very early age helped equip me with a variety of tools to approach children with patience, creativity, warmth, and kindness that I employ every day when I work with children. While I was in college, I nannied with children 1-on-1 for 7 years and I worked as a library aide for 5 years. In the past I volunteered for 8 years coaching volleyball and basketball to 3rd-8th graders, and volunteered for 2 years as a 1st grade English tutor. I began babysitting when a family from work asked me to help watch their three children. I also have lots of experience watching twins and their sibling simultaneously. You can probably tell from my extensive schooling background that providing quality education is one of my core beliefs. It is vitally important for me to contribute to shaping children’s growing minds in environments that are supportive, constructive, and open to letting children try different approaches to learning where they are allowed to fail and grow from their mistakes. I love encouraging literacy, teaching through songs, scaffolding how to try new things on the playground, creating art projects, and incorporating gross motor activity to stimulate retention in the classroom. Thank you for reading and looking forward to hearing from you soon! I have a 24 hour cancellation policy - I will charge 50% for the cancelled booking with less than 24 hours notice. I have multiple references for cat, dog, reptile, and house sitting. I also have references for doing overnight care & before/after school drop-off.
