I am CPR and First Aid certified and have 17 years of experience as a paraeducator in special education. In addition, I have 18 years of experience as a respite provider working with ambulatory clients on the autism spectrum. For the past 3.5 years, I have also served as co-owner and teacher at an infant daycare. The last two years I’ve helped with my daughter’s different foster babies (ages 3 days- 2 years) after work and on the weekends (Currently there are no fosters.) My experience is further informed by being a parent to a child on the autism spectrum, which has deepened my understanding, empathy, and commitment to quality care. Im starting a Grad School Program fall 2026 for a LMFT at USF. My academic goal is to be a kids therapist because I truly love working with kids and that is the reason why I like babysitting since I get an opportunity to work with them. I am the eldest daughter of 5 siblings who are all boys and that I cared for since they were born until they grow up older. So the reason why I am very patient and kind with babies, toddlers and children of any ages is because I got the experience from taking care of my little brothers. But since 2020 I have been a nanny for 5 different families for about 1 or 2 years with each long term family. I can surely provide phone numbers for recommendation as well! One thing about me is that I love talking to babies even though they can’t answer back ha! I like taking toddlers and babies on walks, to closest library or just to explore any part of your place! I also enjoy teaching them the numbers, colors and singing appropriate age songs with them as well! I also love reading books with them. And lastly with children of 6-10+ years old I like to play table games or even painting as well.
