I have a teaching background and I love to make my work meaningful and mindful, always making sure I’m present for my kids helping them grow and develop as beings. My teaching style leans more towards Waldorf and Montessori and I prefer to work for no screens families (even better if you don’t have TV at home). I’m from Brazil and I speak Portuguese and English fluently. I’m very responsible and proactive, I tend to fix things as I go instead of being asked to do it. I have a CPR certificate and First Aid Training. I play the ukulele and I’m also a certified Music Together teacher, I legit sing ALL THE TIME. If you’re into music we’ll definitely get along! I just completed a summer fellowship at SPUR (public policy org) and am looking for babysitting jobs before I go back to Vermont for my last semester! I'm selectively applying for engagements, so if I've clicked on you, there's something I loved in your write-up! I am recently back to work after taking a two year sabbatical. During that time, I sat for a bit over 100 different families and am asked back about half the time! At this point I am only doing evening/night-time sitting, and depending upon what care you need I will consider doing weekend daytime too. I really enjoy being around kids of all ages. If your kid(s) are of the right age, I love to play games, do puzzles, read, or as I see some of you are up for, taking kids around SF to explore this incredible city! I'd love the opportunity to help your household out by responsibly doing some fun things with your child(ren). Or, if they're too young for these things, I'm very responsible and will ensure your newborn or toddler are well looked after.
