I am an HR Professional with a bachelor’s degree in Business yet part of me wishes I had an educational background to work with children. So babysitting gives me the opportunity to do what I enjoy the most! I was an urbansitter nanny all throughout college in San Francisco as my one and only job for 5 years. I cared for children of all ages, from 3 months - 14 years old. My long term families were for children ages 1-5 and 11-14. In addition to my own work experience, I grew up at home with a family childcare, thus I am comfortable being around up to 8 children at once since my mother is a licensed childcare provider. I currently babysit a 4 year old once a week (Jan 2024 - today) My favorite part about babysitting is teaching children through play. It’s rewarding to see a child grow and see how much they learn along the way. I have a tight schedule but if I am available to babysit on weekends and weekday evenings. I have a car and I am also fluent in Spanish.
“Finding a babysitter you can trust implicitly is rare, and finding someone like Ale is an absolute blessing. Ale has been a vital part of our family’s life since 2023, starting when our daughter was 3 years old. Our daughter absolutely adores her, and as parents, that peace of mind is priceless. Beyond how much our daughter loves her, Ale’s professionalism and work ethic are unmatched. She is always on time and completely reliable. She is warm, wonderfully pleasant, communicative, and has an intuition for what kids need in any given moment. What also sets Ale apart is her skill and heart as we navigate being foster parents. Bringing new children into our home means dynamics can shift quickly, but we can always trust Ale. No matter what combination of personalities, emotions, or needs exist on a given day, Ale handles every situation with exceptional skill, patience, and warmth. If you have the chance to hire Ale, do not hesitate for a second. She is a true gem, and any family would be beyond lucky to have her!”
Hi! I’m Sholeh, a caring and dependable nanny with over 5 years of experience. Growing up with 4 siblings taught me to be responsible, patient, and adaptable. I love engaging kids in sports and active play, and I’m just as happy cooking healthy meals as I am helping with homework or story time. Families know me as reliable, loving, and committed to creating a safe, fun environment for children to grow.
Hi, I’m Mikah! I offer occasional childcare with experience caring for children from 4 weeks old through early teens. I’ve been a nanny since 2018 and was a manager at a local swim school for three years. I’m currently nannying while completing my internship to become a licensed school psychologist. Outside of work, I coach youth cheerleading and compete on a cheer team myself. My responsibilities have included driving kids to and from school, tutoring, leading arts and crafts, teaching swim lessons, and helping with homework. I’m also comfortable with light housekeeping, cooking, errands, and have experience with travel nannying and overnight care. I hold a B.S. in Developmental Psychology, an M.A. in Educational Psychology, and am currently earning my Ed.S. in School Psychology. I also hold an assistant teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education and am a certified doula and newborn care specialist. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
Hello, mother of two adult children and grandmother to a six year old. I am also a dog mom. I work 4 days a week at my regular job. Looking to pick up some side work. I have masters in social work, class of 1994 CSUS. I enjoy being in nature and on the water. I enjoy working with children and the elderly. I also enjoy and have experience working with the visually impaired.
I’m excited to be a part of this family, not only as I a nanny, I also have years of experience as a home manager and family assistant. I have a strong background in household management, time management, crisis control and the ability to adapt to any situation I really enjoy the unpredictable role of nanny/house manager. Through my years I have developed excellent organizational and multitasking skills, allowing me to effectively manage household operations, coordinate schedules, run errands and provide administrative and personal support whenever and wherever needed. I take pride in anticipating and planning for the unexpected while solving problems proactively and creating an organized, welcoming environment for your family. Raise in a home in what is now referred to as “Farm to Table” I enjoy using fresh produce, local if possible, in all my meals. Love for cooking became my hobby when our 5 children were small. All my meals can be adapted to dietary concerns and/or those fussy eaters. Based on your needs I could budget/plan, prep or have meals ready to just reheat when you arrive. Just let me know if your needs. Additionally, I worked in the local elementary, Junior High and Sierra College therefore any student concerns I’m sure I can address and have skills to adapt to most academic levels and disciplinary concerns. I also know ASL, a little rusty however with more practice I’m sure that skill will come back quickly. Time management is key and not only will the household tasks and errands be completed in a timely manner., I’m an old school mom, I craft, sew, iron and capable of most household fixes. Understanding the dread of walking into a home where there is a list of tasks and errands awaiting and children to feed, I welcome the opportunity to bring my dedication, strong work ethic and commitment to exceptional service to your family
