I have been working with children in various capacities for over 10 years. For 2 years, I worked as an actor on a traveling theatre group that performs shows on bullying prevention and other social issues at schools throughout the greater Seattle area, and then spent 2 years as the Education and Outreach Program Coordinator for that same theatre company. I now work as an Education Programs Specialist at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, where I develop museum programming for students and teachers. In terms of childcare, I have worked with dozens of families, ages ranging from 11 weeks to 13 years old, and I am comfortable and experienced working with all ages and up to three children at a time (or more if necessary). I have learned so much from little ones over the past years and being able to play a role in their growth and development is a great joy. (Able to provide certification if needed) I love to play sports, do anything arts related, and be around nature. I have two younger twin siblings ages 17 (a boy and a girl) who were born premature. This has allowed me to have hands on experience with kids of ages 17 and down. I have also babysat infants of 11 months or younger and have years of experience with working with ages from 1.5 years old to 3. Changing diapers, and feeding is not a problem for me. Over the years, I have worked with children of many different ages in both daycare and educational settings. I previously worked at the daycare center at RefugeeOne, where I cared for groups of children ages 1–11. I also volunteered as a tutor for middle school students, helping with English, math, and science homework. In addition, I spent two months doing service work at a daycare center in San Jose, Costa Rica, and worked for about three years in the after-school program at Lycee Francais de Chicago (French school) with children ages 3–5.
