In that position I was trained in crisis prevention, CPR and Sign Language. Then while living in LA, I nannied part time and babysat for other families who were regulars.

I've been working with children since I was a child myself, by way of volunteering with my younger sister who has Down Syndrome. This volunteering sparked an interest in me and I have continued on to long term nannying for a few families and I currently work as a behavioral interventionist for children on the spectrum for a large nonprofit.
