I’m a parent of 1, my daughter is now an adult. I retired from the Army after 20yrs in 2016. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have worked(played) in their nursery for over a year in my church. I have also taught in Sunday school 3-5yr olds and 12-15 yr olds. I love babysitting kids because I only had 1 and wanted more. I wouldn't have been able to continue in my career or make it to retirement if it wasn't for the babysitters & family I had for my daughter. I’ve lived in multiple states and 2 other countries as well as visited 19 countries for work. I love “working” with kids because they are nonjudgmental, carefree and a great reminder to slow down and enjoy simple things in life. I'm not looking to start a new career, I believe kids can make life fun and happier than being in a boring corporate office or answering to a boss.

I have completed the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) program and received their certification, along with a First Aid certification card on August 15 and 18, 2024. I attended the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) basic lifesaving training class at the Monterey Park Fire Department in November 7-10. The CERT certificate will be sent out to participants in a couple of months.
