Hi my name is Phoebea, a college graduate with Associate Degree, a mother of 2 adult children. For nannying, I worked one year with twin boys of 5 month-old, two and half year with a girl of 2 month-old, half a year with 2.5 year-old boy and several short term baby sitting jobs. For senior care, I worked for 9 years as home care aid. I started working in trading and exporting firms after college. At the same time, I cared for my two children. My son had some serious health conditions which required regular blood transfusions, surgeries, and eventually a bone marrow transplant. His one year recovery demanded ultra care, patience and attention to details from me, his primary caregiver. While I cooked 3 fresh meals daily for him to prevent infection and contamination, I became quite a polished and nutrition conscious cook. We spent over 10 years in hospital (children's oncology) from time to time. We understand what is precious in life. A smile, some positive words, love and support are so precious to people in need. I love to engage in care giving. The sweet smile of the little boys and girls, and the comfort in the eyes of the seniors are some beautiful things worthwhile to work for.
Hello! My name is Tiara and I am an upcoming freshman at the University of San Francisco. I offer child and pet care, as well as household services. I have a lot of family with young children so I have experience in watching infants, toddlers, and kids. I also have two dogs and a hamster of my own! I enjoy taking my dogs out; I have my driver's license, so I am able to drive them to go on beach and park adventures! My responsibilities at home include washing dishes, occasional grocery shopping, keeping my room organized, taking out the trash, making meals for myself, and tending to my dogs' needs.
Hello, my name is Koryn. I'm seeking to generate more income for my family. I enjoy being with infants, toddlers and children. I want to have control over my schedule and flexibility. Babysitting would be a good fit for this. Also, I live in the Richmond District and would like to offer that the children come to my home, as I have a lovely place with a yard and I'm close to the library, playgrounds and China Beach. I'm a mother of two teenagers. (My profile picture is me with my two children when they were much younger!) My husband and I raised my children in SF. My son is starting his senior year at SI in the Fall and my daughter, an honors graduate of SI, is starting her sophmore year at University of Wisconsin, Madison in the Fall. These days, I've more time to work and support the family financially - with children attending expensive programs this is important to me. I'm originally from the Hudson Valley in NY State. However, I've lived in SF for 25 years. I've work experience in corporate and nonprofits worlds. I understand the pressure and environments for moms and parents. Since 2018, I've been an on call Sr. Event Coordinator for the de Young and Legion of Honor. I loved exploring the city when my children were all ages. I also loved being home with them. I especially loved reading childrens' books with them - Two favorites are 'Stars' by Mary Lyn Ray and 'The Rabbit Listened' by Cory Doerrfeld. I'm prepared to speak to my experiences and open to questions. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi! I’m Abbie and I am in my junior year at San Francisco State University and I am majoring in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Elementary School Teaching and minoring in Special Education. I am offering childcare, pet care, and household services. I have worked at an after school day care (ages 5-12) for 2 years while I was in high school and at an early childhood education center (ages 2-3) while I am at school. I am also currently working at an after school program with students from TK to 8th grade. I have also babysat children of all ages numerous times since I was 14. I enjoy doing many activities with children like crafts, playing outside, reading books, playing games, etc. I have also pet sit animals including dogs, cats, and goats and I am able to walk, feed, and play with any animal. I have a standard poodle at home named Charley and petsitting might help me miss him a little less. I have housesit many times and I can clean, run errands, do laundry, organize, etc. I am CPR certified and have a valid drivers license. I am a very caring and empathetic person and I have always believed my duty in life is to help others.
Hello there! My name is Samantha and live in the 94112 area. I’m fluent in Spanish, French, and English. I know elementary-level Italian and ASL. I’m a first year at Santa Clara University, and I studied abroad in France 2 years ago and lived with a host family. That was an incredible experience! I’m excited to offer childcare and house sitting services. As a caregiver, my main roles include: - language conversations/lessons (Spanish, French, English) - help with light household chores (like organizing, cleaning up play areas) - Making arts & crafts with your child(ren) - Playing games/board games with them - preparing meals or snacks - assisting with homework/tutoring - supervising outdoor play ~and anything else requested!~ I’ve been babysitting since I was 14 years old and love spending time with kids. For the past four years, I’ve worked as an assistant teacher for a summer program in SF, teaching 7th and 9th grade STEM classes. When I’m not taking care of others, I enjoy baking, arts & crafts making, playing board games and card games, watching movies, playing soccer, ceramics, traveling, and exploring the city. I hope you’re interested in what I have to offer! Let me know if you have any questions.
