Hi there! I'm Lily. I'm 29 and was born and raised here in Los Angeles. I graduated from Barnard College in 2019 with a BA in American Studies and Film Studies. While in college, I was a sitter for the Barnard Babysitting Agency and for my work study, was an assistant teacher at Tompkins Hall Nursery. From the agency, I gained experience with all age groups ranging from two months to sixteen years old. Most of my jobs were usually taking care of at least two children at a time. At Tompkins, I mainly worked in the infant and toddler rooms where I played with the children, prepared bottles and meals, changed diapers, and cleaned the classrooms. I also spent some time helping out in the preschool and two's rooms. Right after undergrad I worked at We Rock the Spectrum for a few months (then the pandemic hit), which was a blast. After I finishing my MFA in Game Design at Laguna College of Art and Design in 2021, I spent a couple of years traveling around Europe and spent a lot of my time back in the states in Montana. At the end of 2023 I decided to start babysitting again. However, most of my kids have transitioned into preschool so I am now open to working with some new families. Additionally, I spent four weeks this summer working with kids ages 7-13 at UCLA's Bruins on Broadway camp which was a lot of fun! I am currently taking classes as a post-bacc student at the University of Montana with the hope of applying to medical school in 2026. Some random facts about me: I have two younger sisters (twins), four cats, and two dogs. I used to ride horses, play soccer, and cheer. And I love history, theater, and reading!
Hello there, I'm Elis! I am a caregiver specialized in early childhood development. I've been working with kids all ages for over 8 years now. In Brazil, where I’m from, I’ve worked as a teacher and manager of an English school for two years and a half, before moving to US, in this past experience, I've had the chance to learn about pedagogy, early childhood learning and educational activities with focus on learning while having fun. I have taken neuroscience courses mostly as a hobby, but I’m very passionate about mental health, and having in mind the importance of a healthy childhood, I do my best to always lead with kindness and empathy, while dealing with kids. I love singing, act, arts, crafts, and I consider myself a very active and creative person. I'm very patient and able to adapt to different types of schedules, kids tend to adapt really well with me. I'm very committed to my job and consider punctuality something essential, even though I can be flexible and I'm always open to suggestions of how to improve my services. I believe that everything can be easily solved with communication, respect and kindness, as we are a team, working together with the goal of providing the best possible care for your little one. I'm looking forward to hear from you, let me know if you have any specific questions. Thank you! (FYI: Covid vaccinated)
“Elis was so sweet and my daughter had a great time with her. Would definitely have her back. ”
Hello Families, I am a Counseling Psychology Masters Student at Pacifica Institute. I have been working with kids for over 10 years. I was an au pair for 2 years in Washington DC. I’m flexible, patient and present. I’m also CPR and First aid certified.
Hi there! I am 24 years old, and recently moved from NYC to LA to work at UCLA. I am a Staff Research Associate at a developmental neuroscience lab working on an important childhood development study. A huge part of my job involves working with infants, from newborn to 2 years old. I am looking for some babysitting jobs to fill my free time, and would love to help out your family! During my undergraduate years at Barnard College, | studied psychology, with a focus in childhood development. I worked in the Barnard Center for Toddler Development as a teacher for 12 2-year-olds. I have an extensive background in developmental psychology coursework, including Infant Development and Atypical Development. During the summers, I work as a head counselor and program coordinator at a sleep away camp for ages 8-17. I love cooking, and planning activities for children to do after school.
“Amazing! Punctual and communicative throughout the day. My daughter loves her and can’t wait for their next hang out. Highly recommend.”
Hello, my name is Autumn and I've recently returned to my hometown of Los Angeles. I'm very excited to reconnect with my roots and plant myself into a new life here. Since I was a valley girl, I've been caring for others. Whether it was my younger siblings (I come from a family of 7 kids) or the sweet family of 6 down the street, I started babysitting at the responsible age of 11! I'm still in touch with this family, celebrating milestones together almost annually. Years later I chose to be an au-pair in Hamburg, Germany to an infant and her 3 year old sister Luisa who filled my days with curiosity and wonder. We had so much fun together playing dress up, exploring outdoors and reading and singing together. Not long after returning to the states, I lived with a professional family of Berkeley, nannying for their 2 daughters aged 7 and 9. With both families I tutored, cooked, played games, crafted, offered transportation, championed, provided recreational activities and sang lullabies. In-between these lines of work, I was also once a clown and balloon maker. ;) I have assisted elders with tender care, errands, out of state relocation and aquatic exercise! I recently became a lifeguard and certified swim instructor to adults and children between 9 months and 12 years old. It was so heartwarming to watch kids go from being afraid of water, to loving jumping in and splashing around. I am an extremely clean and organized person, a self-taught home chef, attended neurodivergent training and believe that human connection should always come first. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies which provided a strong block of courses in psychology, further educating me on people. I drive an all electric vehicle and have a clean driving history. I am the sole caretaker of 2 sweet cats but have also looked after friend's dogs in the past. As a child I had a pet mouse, snake, parakeet and hamster so I'm comfortable with all types! Being a caregiver requires sincere intuition and heart. One has to navigate personal needs while also being present of mind to consider safety, technicalities and timelines. I pay close attention to detail, am excellent at anticipating needs and am a certified masseuse. Collectively, I possess the personal qualities, the particular skillset and the creative talents to care for animals, homes and humans of all ages. Did I mention I'm a big fan of Bluey? Who isn't I guess. I look forward to connecting to see if we're a match!
“Autumn was a huge help to me when my two daughters were younger. She would stay with them for long weekends, so my husband and I could get away. She'd play games, do crafts, dance and sing with them. They had a blast with her. Now that they are older...22 and almost 20, Autumn has become an Auntie to them and I can honestly say that my girls are better for knowing her! They had a fun, caring example back then...and today a trusted friend and another knowledgeable adult to get additional life advice from. It's been said, that it takes a village, and I'm so glad I choose Autumn as one of my top members! Highly recommended as a close friend, village member and care giver of any kind!”
