Hi! I’m Sydney, a recent architecture graduate from USC, and I’m excited to offer childcare, pet care, and household help. I’ve been caring for children since I was 14 and have four years of experience as a summer nanny for two elementary school-aged kids. My responsibilities included picking them up from camp, preparing meals, doing crafts, and keeping them engaged and entertained throughout the day. In addition to babysitting, I’ve coached a young girls’ kickball team, which helped me develop patience, leadership, and a playful spirit that kids respond to. I haven’t worked with newborns or infants, but I’m comfortable and confident working with toddlers and school-age children. Hi! I am an LA transplant from the Washington, DC area. I have years of experience working with children of busy corporate and government employees during the summers when school is out. I'm a big kid myself--I love video games and outdoor activities! I am a former cheerleader and gymnast and love playing sports with little ones. One of my first jobs was at a sports complex where I taught children from 18 months-5 years old motor skills playing soccer! Working with children is a joy for me. I also have lots of experience with cats, bigger dogs, and turtles! (Fun fact: I grew up with a turtle that is now 25 years old) I am open to the opportunity to care for alternative pets as well.
