Hi my name is Niesha! I have a passion for working with children and started babysitting over 10 years ago! My experiences, creating a safe space, crafting unique activities, and being someone dependable encouraged me to pursue a career where I could support the youth. I am a provisional mental health therapist who specializes in children/adolescent therapy. I wanted to get back into baby sitting to support my community! I have experience working with children ages infant-adolescents. I spent years supporting families at my childhood daycare, helping families through babysitting sites, and local communities spots. During college, I spent a year being a full time nanny-in this role I was responsible for meals, basic clean up, prepping for kindergarten, and helping with light house work as needed. I also have experience pet sitting when families needed extra support! I believe in an active role of babysitting where children get to explore their interests whether that’s through crafts, books, building blocks, or playing in the front yard! I have always loved children, and I have always taken care of the children in my family and 10 years ago I started professionally. I'm CPR/First Aid/AED and Advanced Child Care trained. I do playful activities with the kids, so they can develop new skills, stimulate cognition and motor coordination. I help with all the routine that parents need, and I adapt to the routine and methods chosen and applied by the family, because it helps the need to have an organized routine to reduce stress and anxiety, then they will have the habit of performing activities according to a routine they already know. All this time taking care of children, I learned that I love dealing with them even more than I imagined, they are always so grateful for everything we've done, they show us so much gratitude in the form of affection and love that makes it all so special. Every child is very different and I give them space so they can feel comfortable being themselves, being respected, loved and feeling safe.

Hi, my name is Megan! I graduated from CU Denver in 2021 and I love playing with kids! I have always loved spending time with kids of all ages and happily began babysitting at a young age. I also spent many hours volunteering with children at my church. Since those early years, I have been the occasional babysitter, the long-term nanny, and worked in childcare at a business. I'm looking to find a new nanny position as the children I have been caring for most recently are aging out of needing my help. I am very child-led when it comes to play and exploration, giving little ones a chance to control a bit of their world and dictate the things that interest them the most. But I also do my best to set a structure and routine to the day, with expectations for what will be occurring at different times, to give the children a sense of stability. One of my favorite things to do with kids is play pretend. I love helping them learn about their world and help them explore and use their imaginations. I can help with some small chores like fixing meals for kids, dishes, and some laundry but I prefer to mainly do childcare. I'm very comfortable with pets but I am mildly allergic to fur.

I live in an apartment downtown with a cat and dog. Willing to pet sit most dogs as long as they get along with my current pets. Can only handle three dogs total including my dog.

Hello, First off I have 6 grown children of my own & 4 grandsons, I was a preschool through 2nd grade teacher for almost 16.years, I am a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist, I also worked at a school as a School Medical Assistant for 8.5 yrs, i have First Aid, CPR, AED. I enjoy watching children learn and explore, they take me into a world that only they see and its full of imagination and adventures.
