Hi, there! My name is Katherine and, as the oldest of five girls, I have been babysitting for as long as I can remember. My first experience with babysitting was for my mom—I would watch my little sisters while she ran errands. As I got older, I started babysitting for some of the families in my neighborhood and continued until I went away to college. In college, I nannied for a couple of different families. One of these families had seven children, ranging in age from 3 to 18. While I mostly spent time with the two little ones, I also chauffeured four of the older children around to their sports practices and various extracurricular activities. In addition to nannying, I also taught an after-school cooking and nutrition program to elementary school age children as part of an internship in college. After college, I moved to Spain to teach English and also tutored for several families on the side. Now, some of my friends and family members are starting to have children of their own and I am always happy to watch them if they have things to do or they just need a break. A little about me—I just moved to Denver from Washington, D.C. last July and I am absolutely loving everything about living here. During the week, I work as an attorney in downtown Denver, but I try to spend every weekend in the mountains. I got engaged this past July and I am planning a Summer 2026 wedding here in Colorado.
