I go to college at University of South Florida and I am in school to become an elementary teacher! When I was in middle school up to my sophomore year of high school I would volunteer at my old daycare and was a teacher assistant. I am very passionate about becoming a teacher and working with children is my favorite thing to do. I loved playing with and creating lesson plans for the younger children and it inspired me to become a teacher.
“Armani was a great sitter. She was communicative, caring and our little one said he had a great time with her. ”
Hello everyone, my name is Sophia and I am currently a student at the University of South Florida! I am offering child care, senior care, pet care, and household services. I love babysitting and being around kids. I volunteer at an elementary school every week, providing tutoring services in English. Fostering educational and learning opportunities for children is important to me--I am open to providing tutoring services during babysitting shifts. Beside tutoring, I also am part of a subbing agency where I work with children from ages 1-5. I am dedicated to creating safe and comfortable environments for your children while you are away. I also have skills in cooking and crafting. I also have experience pet-sitting. Responsibilities included walking, feeding, bathing, and keeping company. I love all animals, but dogs and cats are most up my alley! I volunteer for a senior care agency, where I call seniors with chronic illnesses 2-3x a week to check up on their physical and mental health--fostering real relationships. I do not feel comfortable providing medical care. Responsibilities I would be open to provide: Driving, running errands, cooking, and spending time with them. Feel free to message me with any other specific responsibilities you are looking for! I provide many household services: cooking, cleaning, laundry, organizing, etc. I will not be able to bring my own supplies, so they will need to be provided.
Provided childcare for families with children ranging in age from 2 to 8 years old. Worked as a classroom assistant at my synagogue for two years, assisting with children ages 7–8, collaborating with the teacher to help teach the Hebrew language and about Jewish culture. Served as a camp counselor for two years, supervising children ages 6–8 and ensuring their safety and well-being during both indoor and outdoor activities. Worked with children ages 2–4 in my high school preschool program, helping lead educational and developmental learning activities. Volunteered at Camp Jenny - an organization that gives children from an impoverished community an overnight summer camp experience that includes a variety of activities, sports and team-building exercises. At Camp Jenny, I was responsible for overnight care and supervision of children ages 7–8 and assisted with daily camp activities and routines. I would describe myself as a very loyal, flexible and responsible person who’s easygoing and enjoys creating a comfortable, positive environment. I like doing simple, fun things like game nights or movies nights in, and I’m always open to learning new things and trying new experiences. I am dependable, adaptable, and I try to bring calm and friendly energy wherever I am!
Hello families! My name is Tracy. I’m a mother, grandmother, and experienced caregiver with a background in pediatric nursing. I’ve spent many years caring for infants, babies, and toddlers and truly enjoy supporting children during these important early years. My pediatric nursing education and clinical experience gave me a strong foundation in child safety, health, and early development. Families often appreciate the calm, confident approach I bring to childcare, along with the added reassurance of my medical background. As both a mom and grandmother, I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident with the person caring for their child. I focus on creating a warm, safe environment where children feel secure and supported. I’m very comfortable with infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, nap routines, and supporting developmental milestones. I enjoy reading with children, outdoor walks, music, and play that encourages curiosity and early learning. Parents often tell me they feel at ease leaving their child with me because I’m calm, attentive, and experienced in recognizing children’s needs and keeping them safe. I live in Seminole and am currently available for part-time childcare with infants or toddlers.
Hi! My name is Emily and Ive been working in educational childcare since 2018 with a focus on children with intellectual and physical disabilities. Im going to USF for speech pathology and would love to babysit for your family. I am CPR trained. I do my best to avoid screen time and will opt for low stimulation shows when possible! I have my own car and no speeding tickets, so Im willing to help with pick up and drop off or any other driving based errands. I love to read, paint, and try new recipes and would love to share that in an age appropriate way, especially with themed arts and crafts options! I grew up going to Montessori schools so that philosophy is very important to me. Please let me know if you are interested and I am flexible on pricing!
