Hello! My name is Lelia. My child-care experience began in my youth and continues to this day. It includes being a babysitter, ballet teacher, camp counselor, early childhood educator, church volunteer for babies and toddlers, and an elementary Sunday school teacher and most important of all, being a mother of 3 over the last 20 years. I have cherished each age and stage with my own, but rediscovered my passion for newborn care during my first nanny position caring for a preemie baby. I have supported 6 families with children ages 4 weeks to 3 years. The demands of life and parenting can be both delightful and challenging, so it brings me great joy to help parents take care of their children. It is wonderful to engaging with a child through language, music and play while watching them grow and learn in their own individual way. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, being outdoors, and working puzzles. I have been teaching for 25 years. I have taught all school ages and grade levels. I have a degree in Early childhood and a degree in Montessori Education. I am a parent of two. One of my children is a scholar athlete...tennis is our sport. I am a jack of all trades, so multi-tasking isn't a problem. I was a baby sitter during my collegiate days as a part time job.
