Hi.My name is Stefany, I am 31 years old, currently residing in the northwest side of Chicago. I’m currently looking for few part time morning/evenings or overnight weekend stays. Whether it’s to step out and run to get errands done, dinner with a friend, a date night with your spouse, you name it. I’m here to help! I have experience with kids as long as I can remember. Babysitting was second nature to us. Migrating from Guatemala , my mother’s specialty was babysitting but primarily teaching . However struggles came in the way , the language barrier being one of them provided me with my first job at 8 years old as a translator . . I not only was “working” but it served me as it helped me practice my second language but most importantly I found much meaning and value in my mothers work...I loved going, I was able to make friends with their kids , build relationships and left inspired . Along the way, I was blessed with having nephews and nieces. Nine now! Growing up as a tight-knit family we’re always around to help each other out. Fast forward to my late teen years into young adulthood I started taking babysitting gigs as side jobs. I enjoy not only watching after kids but being able to not only be a teacher to them but most importantly learn from children themselves . Hi! I am a current MBA student at Northwestern Kellogg looking to make some extra money while in school. I'm originally from California and, prior to Kellogg, was working as a clinical researcher at Stanford for over 8 years running clinical trials for Type 1 diabetes technology. My working role involves working with children of all ages (as young as 3 and up) in a healthcare setting, requiring 24/7 oversight for safety. Much of the research I do involve multi-day studies to oversee how new medical devices perform; I’m essentially serving as a babysitter and creating/overseeing activities to do (it’s hard to explain, but I’m more than happy to do so if you’d like more details about what this means!). I have my BS in human development from UC Davis. Aside from my current role, I have multiple years of experience working with children during college in classroom settings, through various baby sitting gigs, and even teaching piano. I love puzzles, baking, playing with my pup (and generally all dogs), and being outside and active as much as possible! I most recently spent a quarter abroad in Australia and was fortunate enough to complete a few multi day backpacking trips around Australia and New Zealand I love being creative and am happy to do arts and crafts and supervised baking projects with your child! I have been CPR/First Aid trained and certified multiple times in the past (including toddler/infant) for my job, though that has since expired. That said, I am confident in my abilities to address emergency situations from my past trainings.

I enjoy working with kids, not only taking good care of them but also expending quality time with time. I like to include activities and games that not only entertain the little ones but also help with their cognitive and motor stimulation. I have experience with toddlers and also can take care of younger babies. I can provide help with house duties.
