I currently work for a wonderful family in River North soon to relocate to Roscoe Village. My Schedule allows me to babysit for date nights during the week after 5pm. And weekends at any time needed. Hi! My name is Artemis, my students call me Teacher Art! I’ve been teaching early childhood since April 2025 and I absolutely LOVE working with kids! My classroom had the most allergy students in the center so I am very familiar with allergy protocols. I have my SBS certification, my SIDS certification, and my Food Handler’s certification as well! My favorite things to do are puzzles, story time, and art activities! I also love getting to see what my students are interested in and using that knowledge to build stronger connections! I have a background in singing and art therapy, and I try to incorporate that into my work with my students. I have two years teaching experience with middle school aged students with disabilities as well. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and intermediate in ASL. I also have experience working with seniors both in a nursing home and in home care as well. I have experience bathing and dressing seniors, meal prepping for them, and cleaning up their home.
