Hi there, my name is Josie! I’m 20 years old and currently live in the northwest suburbs of IL. I have a background in business entrepreneurship, but one of my many passion lies in caregiving and working with children. My most recent role was as a Youth Development Professional for a nonprofit organization, where I had the pleasure of working with children ranging from infants to middle schoolers. I’ve been involved in childcare informally since I was 14 and began working professionally at 18. I am CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I truly enjoy engaging with kids during both playtime and feedings. Quiet moments like nap time are very special to me. Colleagues often describe me as kind, hardworking, intelligent, and easygoing. In addition to childcare, I offer services such as cleaning, cooking, and organizing. For families with pets, I’m also happy to help with walking and feeding. I am a sweet and reliable baby sitter with Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certification. Currently studying at Wright College. Also, I am bilingual (Spanish and English ) I have experience with children as a volunteer at a church daycare in Mexico as teen. I also have 2 younger siblings now 11 and 15 who I helped take care of as babies. I've been babysitting my whole life and really enjoy spending time with children. They are genuine, inventive and energetic and a welcome change from the adults I spend most of my time with! Hello, I am currently in college and pursuing a degree in teaching. I absolutely love working with kids and have had lots of experience. I am currently a volunteer working in my churches kindergarten classroom and I have also worked with ages 0-12 at my church. I also dog/pet sit. I enjoy playing and planning activities to do with the children. Going for walks, doing chalk, and playing games are just a few things I enjoy. I have also worked at a summer camp at a park district last summer. I am willing to cook, clean, do laundry and run errands.
