Hi! My name is Faith, I’m 22 years old and I am currently in my final year of nursing school at IUPUI. I am the oldest of 4 girls, and have tons of baby cousins, so I’ve pretty much been a babysitter my whole life. I am CPR certified and I am interested in Pediatric Nursing. I have so much love for children and teenagers. I can help with tutoring in math, and I can also help run errands, if necessary. I also do not mind taking kids to and from practices, or picking them up from school/daycare.
Hello! My name is Faith, and caring for children has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old to help provide extra income for my family, and through the years it grew into something much deeper, a genuine passion for caring for and supporting children. Babysitting gave me early lessons in responsibility, patience, and creating a safe, nurturing environment, and those lessons have shaped who I am today. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. My background includes professional experience at Riley Children’s Hospital, mentoring and student leadership roles, and my ongoing service as the Assistant Department Head for the children’s Sunday School ministry at my church. There, I help plan lessons, organize activities, and lead groups of children in learning, play, and faith-based growth. Working with kids in a spiritual and community setting has given me a unique perspective on how to encourage kindness, creativity, and confidence in young hearts. In addition to childcare, I run a faith-based children’s clothing business, which allows me to combine my love for children with creativity and entrepreneurship. These experiences reflect my dedication, initiative, and ability to balance responsibility with joy. Parents can count on me to be dependable, engaged, and intentional in every babysitting role I take on. I am CPR/First Aid trained and comfortable with everything from bottle-feeding and diaper changes to homework help and structured playtime. I enjoy reading with children, crafting fun activities, playing games, and helping with light household tasks or pet care as needed. I have two masters degree (an MBA and an MPA). Families often describe me as trustworthy, dependable, and full of positive energy. I take pride in creating environments where kids feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. Whether you’re looking for occasional care, part-time help, or someone who will support your family consistently, I look forward to bringing warmth, patience, and creativity into your home.
I have a diverse background in child, pet, and senior care. I have been babysitting since middle school (where I even took an official course and got CPR certified), coached youth soccer camps and travel club teams of boys and girls ages 6-10, was a mentor of middle-school aged girls through Girls Inc of Indianapolis and tutored/volunteered at several inner-city after-school programs, and have tons of experience with kids of all ages because of my large family (I have 20 first cousins younger than I am and have often watched my neice and nephew over the years while my siblings were on vacations, even when they were under a year old). I have always loved animals (wanted to be a vet when I was a child), and have extensive experience particular caring for dogs because of my ownership and foster experience (I have had pets and shared responsibilities for them since childhood). I have also cared for cats--I love them but have a mild allergy, so I tend to limit those to short pop-in visits depending on the breed. Some limited experience with basic tending of birds (parakeets, lovebirds, macaws); and small animals such as hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, etc. The past couple years I have focused on working as an in home health supportive services worker, particularly for seniors with mobility and memory decline issues (helping them with their house chores, cleaning, preparing meals, and generally providing companionship.) I've always found success and enjoyment in child/pet/senior care positions because I have a very calm, patient demeanor, high emotional intelligence which helps me connect with both introverts and extroverts, an extremely creative mind that keeps children engaged, a great sense of humor/willingness to be silly with young kids (I am known as the "favorite" aunt and always asked to join their vacations), and am known as "an old soul" who enjoys keeping seniors company and helping improve their lives in ways they no longer can manage themselves. I always feel a strong sense of pride in being able to provide my clients with the confidence to leave their loved ones in my care and come back to them just as happy or happier than when I arrived :) I believe one of the greatest gifts we can give people is their time back to them when they need a break or just assistance in this difficult economic period we're experiencing. If you're looking for a fun, dependable, experienced caregiver, I'd love the chance to help you! :) *I'm also fluent in Spanish
“Emily was great with my boys! They both had a lot of fun and was ready for bed when we got back home! ”
I am a speech therapist on summer break from working in schools. I work with kids all year around and absolutely love seeing them learn and grow. I have worked with preschool through high school, I have a 6 year old niece I spend time with weekly, and I love the silly stories and games that kiddos come up with. I also have 2 dogs and am an avid researcher on pet health, so if you need some extra pet help I am available! Reach out with any questions! I’ll be pleased to answer.
My name is Jan. I’m a mother of five, a grandmother of eight, and a retired licensed social worker and therapist. I am currently offering both child care and senior care. I have a lifelong love for children and began caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-aged children at just 12 years old. I’m comfortable with all ages and can provide reliable transportation to and from school, activities, and appointments as needed. In addition to child care, I have extensive experience providing senior care. I’ve been a caregiver for my own parents and my father-in-law, and I’m comfortable assisting with daily needs such as meal preparation, transportation to appointments, errands, and companionship. (I’m also a great Euchre partner!) I am happy to work with families who have cats and dogs and am committed to providing safe, nurturing, and reliable care.
