I am a college student majoring in Elementary education. My work experience includes daycare teacher for the past year and a half, specifically a MD state certified Toddler teacher. Prior to work, my experience has been babysitting my families and friends’ families children! A few traits about me is that I have grown up to love teaching, and working with children. I have medical experience beginning at Children’s Hospital in DC on their behavioural psychiatry unit, my nursing internship was a Cambridge hospital on the pediatric behaviour program. After becoming an NP in 2005, I spent several summers as a camp nurse at the Barrie School in Silver Spring, MD. I have also worked with their 4 year olds for aftercare and substituted in the baby room when needed. My other experience includes being the lead NP at JHH on their Meyer 6 unit for 4 years and some time in the Anesthesia department. Working with children has been my most fulfilling work. My extensive care of children in various situations should make any parent feel confident in choosing me as a caregiver.
