Hello parents! My name is Annie- a native of the D.C. area, I live in Baltimore, have family in Silver Spring, and commute to NW D.C. so I’m happy to pick up jobs anywhere in the area! What I bring to the table: •Nearly 20 years of experience with childcare and household management for preschool-to-high school aged kids and families. I was with my previous family for 14 years and have been with my current family since 2019. •Intuitive and fast thinking- I am able to quickly troubleshoot situations and navigate decisions without handholding. Fixing problems before they become problems. •Almost spotless driving record (one camera ticket in the last few years), plus a squeaky clean criminal record. I am very comfortable driving, navigating rush hour, parallel parking, etc. I have my own transportation. •Funny, down to earth, and strong in my convictions- would like to work with a family on the same wavelength. •I love to cook and am familiar with many different cuisines. Comfortable in kosher, vegetarian/vegan, and gluten-free/allergy kitchens. •Happy to work with families and kids of all types! LGBTQ+, polyam, gnc, families and kids welcome. The downsides: •I am only available for occasional or as-needed work. I currently work part-time with a rolling schedule so I have decent availability but cannot commit to a set schedule. •I am a night owl and prefer to work afternoons and evenings. Late nights are not a problem. •Funny, down to earth, and strong in my convictions- so I’m unfortunately not willing to work with folks whose values don’t match my own :) When not corralling kids, I am in the garden (or planning next year’s garden), elbow deep in dyeing yarn, at my weaving loom with a podcast on, or watching local music. Catch me at your local maker’s market 🧶 Hope to her from you soon!
“Arrived on time. Our toddler immediately enjoyed playing with Annie. Great experience for parents and child.”
Hi! My name is Zion and I am currently a sophomore at Coppin State University. I am offering childcare, pet care, and household services. I love working with children, and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-aged children for more than 8+ years. Additionally, I am an assistant teacher at a daycare facility when I am on breaks from school. My responsibilities have included feeding, potty training/diaper changing, crafts, and tutoring. I am also open to cleaning, cooking, and running errands. To add on, I am comfortable with working with animals.
I am originally an Early Childhood Educator by profession. I have been working with young children since 2011. I have experience also in working and helping older kids as well as seniors. I am also a mother and always try to treat children the way I would want my children to be treated. I enjoy being around kids and enjoy being a help for others that may need it.
I’m the second oldest of six kids, so caring for others has always been a big part of my life. I naturally take on a leadership role and often help my younger siblings whether that’s preparing meals, helping with homework, keeping them on schedule, or making sure they’re ok. I also help care for my great grandmother from time to time, helping with light chores and meals. Being part of a big family has taught me patience, responsibility and how to stay calm in busy situations. I’m dependable, nurturing and enjoy helping others feel safe and cared for.
Hi - I’m Riley and am currently working as a Network Engineer. I have degrees in psychology and computer networking. I love being a caregiver and did so full time before and during school. Most of my experience is caring for toddlers and children with special needs. My responsibilities have included cooking dinners, light cleaning, driving to doctor’s appointments and other activities. Previously worked in a pediatric inpatient hospital unit as direct care staff and supervisor before moving to IT. Pet sitting experience with giving medication and inhalers. Comfortable with both cats and dogs.
