Hello! I am a 20 year old college student, I am in my third year pursuing my Biology degree. For the past 3 years, I have worked as a nanny and babysitter for multiple families with kids ranging from infant to 10+ years old. I normally don't use screens when watching kids and try to engage them in various activities they already have around the house or from whatever material I bring with me. I am comfortable with all pets and don't mind helping with light housekeeping.

I have been babysitting/ had experience with small children since I was 9 or 10- first with my little brother and cousins and later babysitting outside the home. I helped with Vacation Bible School and Sunday School for many years, as a leader. I now have nieces and nephews that I have babysat over the years too. Kids seem to like me fairly quickly- I honestly think it's the curly hair doing a lot of the work lol I love doing crafts or reading (voices and all) and my family loves to play games. As far as the fur babies- I grew up having cats, all my friends have cats, my mom used to foster for the Humane Society and I've got my own 2 handsome sons. I have also had experience living with a dog, as well as dogsitting and I am very comfortable around them. I like to keep my spaces pretty tidy and organized and clean my own home regularly. You can often find me gently bossing my friend around so she gets her chores and tasks done lol

Professionally, I am a Mechanical Engineer, but as I am considering a life/career change, I am temporarily looking for part time work. I am an aunt to 4 boys and 2 grand nephews, a cat mom and have had a lot of experience over the years caring for children and different pets (cats, dogs, hamsters, even a bearded dragon!). I have cared for children within my family as well as for non family members. (infants, toddlers, young children, 10+) I am a great home cook (one of my passions is food/cooking). I also have about 5 years of experience with math tutoring and general educational guidance/coaching (mostly for grades 6 through college, but willing to tutor lower grades as well.) Most people would describe me as calm, respectful, and creative. I would much rather catch butterflies, play board games, and build snowmen with your kids than sit them in front of a T.V I have no problem enforcing rules such as bedtimes or chores, I only ask that you communicate these expectations with your children beforehand.
