It’s now many years later as I am currently now 26, but still have that same energy :) I am re-entering the babysitting world as a means to save for my masters and because I miss it, a ton. Watching children made a lot of nights easier in college and brought me so much joy. I’m excited to get back into it and meet families in Raleigh (my new home!). Hi there! My name is Brianna as you may already know. In 2017, I moved to San Francisco from Philadelphia for college. I am a biology major in a Pre-Med track at the University of San Francisco to get me closer to my goal of becoming an anesthesiologist. While growing up in Philly, I had four much older siblings, the closest to me is still 9 years older. I say this because it shows just how it was possible for me to become an aunt by the age of four. Every year or two there has been a new baby added to the family, so I was always the go-to for babysitting when they needed one. I started watching them by myself at the age of 12 because my family knew I was mature enough to. I have watched my six nieces and three nephews countless times for my siblings, their ages ranging from 2 months to 8 years old. Not only did I babysit for my siblings but for their friends and sometimes my neighbors too. I think this just goes to show just how much experience I have with children of all ages. Now, my nieces and nephews would describe me as the "cool" aunt, because I never fail to do something fun with them while I am with them. Things like going to the playground, coloring, playing tons of boardgames, or hide and go seek, etc. Besides that I also have been a tutor in Philadelphia, both at school and on the side. I am always the first my neighbors' or siblings' children come to when homework help is needed. I like to make sure the child understands what I am doing rather than just doing the work for them. So yes, I may be the "cool" aunt, but I do have a serious side when needed. I love babysitting because of exactly this. Not only do I get to teach the children something or become their friend but they also teach me something new all the time. Plus, I am a child at heart so I love doing things like coloring or playing games with them, and I am only 20 meaning I have lots of energy to chase them around. Hi.. I’m Colleen. I am a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for 40 plus yrs, 22 yrs were with Duke University Medical Center. I have two grown kids of my own and they are very awesome adults. My career goal was to teach children k through 3rd grade, however, my life took a different direction that has served me well, the medical field. I come from a large family of seven sibs, this helped shape who I am today. I am a 67 yr young, caring, gentle, fun, dependable single woman who has much to offer with my love for kids and look forward to assisting you with yours!

Hi parents! My name is Megan, and I’ve been in childcare since 2005. I studied Early Childhood Education, Library Science, and completed Newborn Care Specialist training. Over the last couple decades, I have worked with ages 0-12, and some adults. Most of my experience lies in early childhood, as I typically begin nannying during infancy and prepare them for pre-school. I'm CPR/AED/1st Aid certified, have experience with food allergies, seizures, behavioral disorders, chronic disorders, and speech delays. I am comfortable administering medication and driving with children in my care. I practice gentle parenting, sleep training, a variety of language techniques, and strive to work together with family/parents/children as a true part of the team. Just a bit about me-- I love yoga, gardening, and hanging with my partner and our four critters (so I’m very pet friendly!). I'm a lover of books, music, and arts & crafts.
