After eight years in the Bay Area, I've held roles as an Education Director at the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco, then moved into mission-driven EdTech and, most recently, mental health companies focused on expanding access to care for youth. But my connection to children goes back long before my career. I started as a mother's helper in middle school, nannied after school for a six-week-old throughout high school, studied Early Childhood Development at Skidmore College, and in recent years have had the joy of caring for my goddaughter every Thursday since she was three months old.
