Hi! My name is Lourdes, I am looking for one time + part time babysitting gigs for now - onward. Happy to discuss my available hours! Since September 2021, I have experience with kids from 3 months - 14 years old. I also have extensive experience with pet + house sitting (cats and dogs). For my longest term gig, from December 2021 - February 2023 I was a part-time nanny for a family in the West Village with 3 children (ages 6-12) and supported with tasks such as school pick up, meal prep, bedtime, packing, homework assistance, emotional support, ubering around, light housekeeping, and traveled with them internationally. Whilst working with them, I also was able to develop relationships with other families within their school community, a total of 6 other families who would be able to, and to this day, ask for help when needed. I've been described as fun, creative, crafty, and very quick on my feet, I'm a great multitasker. I've also been described as the family "vibe checker", I'm always looking to brighten up the energy in a room. I am currently in school full time to finish my BA in Film Production and Classical / Latin + Greek Studies. I speak fluent Italian and Spanish, and am developing a career as an actor and film producer. I am a big advocate for the arts and would love to share my love for reading / painting / singing with whomever I'm babysitting. I’m also the oldest of four sisters, if that’s any reassurance, and have also done school drop off, pick up, and meal prep with them. I love cooking and am also comfortable tidying up with dishes and meal prep. My Linkedin is the same as my name here. Happy to provide references. Hope to meet you soon!
“Lourdes is everything you could want in a sitter. She’s communicative, flexible and fun. She started babysitting for me when I was a new mom and nervous about leaving my baby with someone who wasn’t a family member and now it’s hard for me to leave my kids with anyone else! We love Lourdes! Highly recommend!”
Hello! My name is Reem, and I am an experienced childcare provider with a background in nursing and education. I come from a big family and have always been around children, including helping care for my siblings’ children. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and have experience working as a School Nurse in Morocco and as a Teaching Assistant in the UK, supporting children of different ages. I am patient, responsible, and passionate about creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I can help with playtime, educational activities, reading, homework support, meal preparation, daily routines, and providing attentive care. I am currently preparing for the NCLEX-RN exam, the licensing exam required to become a registered nurse in the United States, and I am looking for a part-time babysitting or nanny position caring for one or two children in Bayonne, Jersey City, Newport, Hoboken, or nearby areas accessible by public transportation. I speak three languages: English, French, and Arabic. I would love the opportunity to support your family and provide reliable, caring childcare.
Hi, I’m Alicia! I am a first-year student studying at Fordham University at Lincoln Center. I am offering child care, animal care, and household services. As a big sister, I’ve spent my whole life caring for my younger siblings, which sparked my passion for babysitting. I have hands-on experience watching over toddlers and ensuring their safety while juggling school drop-offs and pick-ups for their older school-age siblings. Over the years, I’ve cared for numerous young children, creating a fun, nurturing, and safe environment that parents can trust. As a result of working in multiple customer service jobs along with my engrained family position of being a middle child, I’ve developed an outgoing yet adaptable personality that allows me to connect with children of all ages and personalities. I genuinely enjoy being around different people and pride myself on my patience, creativity, and ability to handle any situation with a smile. Whether it's playtime, homework help, or bedtime routines, I’m dedicated to providing reliable and loving care for every child I watch. I also adore animals and would be happy to help with your furry loved ones, whether it be feeding, walking, or just playing. I have two of my own and know just how important they are to a family !! I can also help as a household assistant, providing tasks such as cleaning or running errands.
Hi! My name is Josephine. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon, but recently graduated from Boston College in May, and moved to New York City in June! I've been babysitting since middle school and have the most experience caring for toddlers and school-age children, though I'm happy to work with kids of any age. I'm incredibly responsible, organized, and dependable, and I always strive to create a safe and fun environment for the children I care for. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to help around the house with cooking, cleaning, laundry, dog walking, and other household tasks. I also speak French and a little Spanish, and I'm glad to help with homework or provide extra academic support when needed. A little about me: I love spending time outdoors, exploring New York, and visiting art museums. Whether we're doing crafts, playing outside, reading books, or helping with homework, I enjoy finding activities that keep kids engaged and having fun. I'd love the opportunity to meet your family and help however l can!
