Hi! I currently work full-time in higher education as a college counselor, but have extensive experience in childcare as a full-time nanny & part-time sitter as well as teacher for younger students. I used to direct an After School Program (at SPCC) for school-aged children, K-5, and taught English (ESL) to high school students. I personally love working with kids as it's a great way to get to know my community and have fun with cool & interesting wee ones! I have references and my rates are negotiable. During the summer, I have a flexible schedule with may allow additional hours. Most evenings & almost all weekends are wide open. Please reach out with any questions!

“Alex was so thorough and absolutely incredible with my daughter Charlotte. Couldn’t recommend her more. ”

Hi! My name is Lily, I work and live full time in New York, and I went to Virginia Tech for school. I love being a babysitter and I’m trying to find opportunities to continue baby-sitting here. I have been baby-sitting since I was about 14 years old. I’ve sat kids 9-11, and my younger cousins who are 3, 7, 10, and 13. I am a kind, thoughtful and creative person who likes to craft, knit, read and play board games in my free time. I love kids and I am a patient, responsible, and caring individual. I can also work as a household assistant who cleans, runs errands, house sits or pet sits. I grew up with 3 cats and a dog and I just adore pets. I miss my chocolate lab back at my parent’s house. :)

Hi! My name is Alejandra, I’m 22 years old and I have about 5 years of experience caring for children. Taking care of kids has always been part of my life. I grew up helping with my younger brother (who is now 10) and my younger cousins, which helped me develop patience, responsibility, and a natural connection with children. I’m a very creative person and I love keeping kids engaged with fun activities like arts and crafts, creative play, and small projects. I also enjoy photography and anything related to creativity. I’m currently studying Computer Art at Hudson County Community College and I have a certificate in Graphic Design, so I love bringing creativity and imagination into the time I spend with kids. My first language is Spanish, and I also speak English well. I’m caring, responsible, and attentive, and I always try to create a safe, positive, and fun environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I truly love working with kids and being someone families can trust. I would be happy to help support your family and take great care of your little ones. I’m also very comfortable with pets, so having animals in the home is absolutely no problem for me

“Alejandra was reliable, friendly, and did a great job jumping right in to put our two boys to bed and complete kid-related tasks after bedtime. ”
