I am looking to assist a lovely family with child care (ages 2-12). This includes pick up/drop off, housekeeping, organizing, scheduling, food preparation, feeding, bathing, tutoring, etc. The most fascinating thing I find with child care is the chance to re-see and relearn the world through children's point of view and experience. A well-educated and cultured individual, who previously worked in corporate, I am finding new fulfillment being around children. I am active in my daily life, so I can keep up with activities. My personality is patient, caring and empathetic, with honesty and a sense of humor. I value safety, respect and being a positive role model. I enjoy working with children, even in my previous corporate jobs. In addition to being a certified yoga instructor, I also have experience in school volunteering and tutoring. I look forward to meeting and getting to know your family. Thank you. *Pet care experience - previously had 5 cats and 4 dogs.
Hi! My name is Maria, I just graduated from AMDA here in New York and I am offering child care services! I have been working with children since I was 13. I have babysat children from the ages of infant to 10 years old since I was 15. I volunteered for three years in an a third grade classroom working with students once a week. I also have music directed elementary school plays, and helped the children with their projects. I love kids. They’re such a joy and I love to be able to work with them. I also love animals and I’m comfortable with working/helping care for them while caring for kids. I am also able to cook and clean. I’m very comfortable in the kitchen and with keeping things tidy.
hi! I'm an experienced babysitter, tutor, and pet sitter. I have years of experience working with families in the neighborhood and love hanging out with kids. I really value staying present in the moment with children and make sure to listen to their needs.
Hi! My name is Giada, and I’m currently a sophomore at CUNY Hunter College studying Social Work. I’m planning to apply to the BSW program, and I’m especially interested in working in mental health and helping others. I’ve always loved babysitting, mostly because I had a babysitter growing up who I really loved and looked forward to spending time with. I’ve been working with children since I was around 14 and have experience caring for toddlers and older children. I’ve also volunteered and worked at a summer camp for young children, which gave me even more experience spending time with and caring for kids. I would describe myself as patient, responsible, and caring. I love being outside with kids when the weather is nice and getting involved in whatever activities they enjoy. I’m also comfortable helping with homework, cooking, and keeping children entertained. Outside of school and babysitting, I enjoy listening to music, reading, and spending time with my friends.
Hello! My name is Clara, and I'm currently staying in the NYC area for the fall semester completing an art residency. I am offering child care, animal care, and help with household tasks. I am open to caring for children 3+ years. I usually work part-time at a youth art nonprofit teaching kids 18 months to 12 years of age, and I have also worked with kids as a martial arts instructor and academic tutor. I enjoy spending time with kids making art, reading books, playing music or sports, and cooking together. I come from a big family, but do not have children myself yet! I have helped many of my friends raise wonderful kids over the years. I am comfortable transporting children between school, scheduled activities, and the home. I am CPR and first aid certified through the American Heart Association. For pets, I am open to leash trained dogs up to 100 pounds, all cats, rabbits and other small mammals, ferrets, and reptiles. I am open to puppies and kittens but would prefer to discuss first! In college, I worked several jobs in animal care including vet assisting, dog walking/training, and exotic animal adoption. I am trained in animal first aid and comfortable administering medication including subcutaneous injections. I am also available for errands including cooking, cleaning, shopping, and household management. I am a great cook, home baker, very organized, and a pro at budgeting. I do not have a car while staying in the city but am happy to do errands via public transit. I have a clean driving record if using your car is something that is necessary. I like to say that I am a jack of all trades because I am willing to try anything, and if I like it, I won't stop until I improve. I would like to use my skills to help make your day feel a little easier!
