I have been taking care of my siblings and foster siblings since I was about 7 years old. I have worked with children with medical problems. I am very social, outgoing, and I love to have a good laugh. I also do very well at cleaning and cooking although I’m not very highly skilled in cooking.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education with a certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders. I have been working with children for 12 years and teaching for 10 years. I am currently a Pre-K teacher for Columbus City Schools. I love working with children of all ages.

Professionally, I work as a juvenile corrections officer for the state of Ohio, interacting daily with youth from all over the state. This role has deepened my passion for helping young people navigate their challenges, and I find fulfillment in making a positive impact in their lives. Additionally, I have a profound appreciation for the elder generation. Raised by my maternal grandmother, I cherish the lessons and wisdom she imparted. I have worked as a classroom assistant for childcare center from 2[removed]. I helped teachers supervise children during play, implement lessons, and help during bathroom/diapering. I worked with ages 6 weeks to 6 years-old. I have a BA in Psychology and also hold a MSW and was a child and family therapist for 10 years. Currently, I am transitioning to focus on writing and music career, and would like part time work to support myself. I'm flexible, independent, and fun. I believe in making children feel safe above all things. I love music, art, dance, and games and share those activities with children. I am dancer with education and teaching experience in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and musical theater. I have play piano and bass currently.
