My name is Analisa and I have about 5 years of experience working with children of all ages. I have tutored many school age children as well as taken care of senior citizens. I take pride in the care that I’m able to give. I am also a pharmacy technician and understand how to care for people on a lower medical level. Hi I'm Sonja, I'm a full time college student majoring in human services. I have 3 more years until I graduate with my bachelors degree! I grew up around kids my entire life so I was always the one parents would ask to watch them. I also had dogs growing up so I'm very use to pets, I also have cat of my own now. I love being able to help make kids happy and be able to see a smile on there face at all times. Just being around kids makes so happy! Hi! Next time meet you! My name is Gina and I am a proud mom of 4 children. I have 3 sons and 1 daughter their ages are 8, 6, 4, and 2. I love children with my whole heart and soul. My children are the greatest gift I have ever been given. The joy I receive from educating, nurturing children is a blessing. I always had a fondness for children as I looked forward to baby sitting my friends younger siblings. There is a song lyric I think about often it is “find something that you love and do it everyday, do that for the rest of your life and the world will change.” This is how I feel about childhood education and child care and why I am passionate about it. I believe how we raise children is the most important thing we can do to change the world. I believe all children are a gift from God. All of my experience and self education is life experience and reading books such as How to Talk so Kids will Listen and How to Listen so Kids will Talk, Whole Brain Child, and No Drama Discipline. I believe in gentle parenting to my core. Gentle parenting does not mean hands off parenting. It keeps adults educated on controlling emotions and parenting from an executive function part of the brain instead of a primal impulsive one (emotional). The behaviors we want to see in our children starts with us. I believe in using connection to foster respect for the positive behavior not punishment. Another thing I prioritize in child care is ensuring the children are safe. You ensure this by being involved with the children at all times (do not be on phone) and educating children on unsafe behavior. I also find education important which means being firm on limiting electronics. Encouraging children to use their imagination and reading. I am a Christian and have strong biblical values in case your family does as well. I respect all religions (except satanism) and above all I respect a parent’s choice for how THEY want to raise their child. I am self educated in health and do know how to cook a healthy home cooked meal and encourage children to try new foods by making it fun and silly. Which being fun/silly is usually the best way to motivate a child to do anything lol. Also for dog sitting/walking you can take almost all of my views above and apply to fur babies.
