Hi, my name is Jeanny, I am a single mother of 2 children, 17 and 11 year olds. I am offering child care, pet care, senior care and household services. I can be a handy woman, run errands, cook and clean.

I have over 10 years experience working with children. I am currently a Teacher’s Aide in a 2nd grade classroom, and this is my second year doing so. I have 7 years of summer camp experience and 2 years on leadership of summer camps. I have tutored, housesat and pet sat in between the aforementioned experience. I nannied March 2020-August 2020 everyday for a family and continued a working relationship with them through the summers following 2020. I am compassionate, caring, loyal, trustworthy and resilient. I have worked with kids 6 months old to kids who are 14. In college I served as a new student peer mentor for 2 school years which meant checking in with students their first and second years of college and they always knew they could come to me if they needed anything. I also served for 3 school years as a peer support facilitator, holding space for those to come and talk and offering advice as well as getting advice and connection for my own life.

Hello! I am a former 6-12th grade teacher going back to school for nursing. I am looking for occasional or part time work on the days that I don’t have classes. My formal experience with children includes teaching middle school and high school, as well as summer camp with preschool to middle school aged children, and as an educational assistant for a special needs program. Although it has been awhile since I officially offered childcare, I grew up taking care of four younger siblings as well as foster children. I did often babysit for families with multiple children of different ages throughout high school and am looking to start again. I am comfortable with children of all ages, and am happy to help with light household chores and pets if needed. As a former teacher, I have a lot of experience with lesson planning and engaging kids in science (and other subjects too) regardless of their age and I would be happy to implement this in any childcare position. Hi! I’m a therapist who works with tween/teen girls and I recently moved to Portland. I love spending time with girls ages 6–18 and am available for after-school or before school rides, homework structure support, and evening help. My speciality is mentoring and supporting girls in their emotional development, friendship world, regulation, and self confidence! Before becoming a therapist, I nannied for many families and have a lot of experience working with children and teenagers, supporting families and am still in touch with many of them!
