Hello! I’m Kaitlynn and I’m excited to work with you and your kiddos! I am an alumna of the UW with a degree in biology, planning on heading to medical school. I am hoping to find a few families that I can babysit for consistently so myself, and the kids and parents alike can be comfortable and confident. I have previously volunteered as a tutor of varying ages (5-13), and helped take care of my nephew who is now 10 years old. I am BLS certified and knowledgeable on basic first aid (though not certified in that). I am preparing for the MCAT and working (my job is highly variable and I am able to set my schedule for the most part) during this gap year. I look forward to talking with you soon!

Hi, my name is Charlotte! I am currently working my master’s in school counseling and am loving it. I have worked with a kids of a variety of ages and in a variety of settings—including babysitting kids ages six months through preteen, counseling and mentoring preschool through high school students at summer camp, working with elementary and middle school students in local schools through Generation Alive, volunteering in kids’ ministry at church, and volunteering in afterschool programs with elementary and middle schoolers. In these roles, I have been known to be caring, encouraging, and develop strong relationships with kids of all ages. My background is in nursing. This included care of the elderly within a hospital and nursing home environment. I was also a volunteer dining room server at a local senior center. As an animal caregiver it has been my passion since the passing of one of my pets. Shelter volunteering was a way to give back to the community and gain valued experiences with animals. Working as a volunteer at a shelter clinic inspired my enthusiasm for learning different aspects of pre and post op care. My duties were to record vital signs, administer subcutaneous fluids, and medications, in addition to monitoring animals until conscious. Presently, I foster kittens and cats for a local shelter, preparing them for adoption. Many are medically / socially challenged.
