I enjoy helping young people learn, grow new skills, have fun and regulate emotions. Hi, my name is Renatha, I'm 29 and I'm from Brazil. I've been here in the US for almost 7 years. I have a 3yo girl and a 18mo boy. I can either bring one of them as a playmate or they can stay at home with grandma. When taking care of kids I like playing and interacting with them, reading books and sometimes I try to teach some Portuguese. Arts and crafts is usually their favorite, along with going to a playground nearby.. I like letting the kids explore and have fun, even if that means they get a little dirty (of course, with the families that are okay with that). My favorite thing to do is hiking and learning about plants. Every hike I bring along my plants book and I always find something interesting and new. I've learned some plants are eatable, some are medicinal and some are poisonous. Now I know which plants to stay away and which to have it around. My favorite hike was an amazing 3 day hike, 37 miles round trip to a blue glacier right in the middle of the Olympic national forest. That was amazing! *** I do have a bad review, I had to cancel short notice. My car was just not starting and jumping didn't help it. Since then I've got it fixed and I have no more problems with it. ***
